Good Thursday Morning!!
Another fabulous start! I was up till midnight doing laundry!!
Let me clarify something... My darling MIL lives with us and is a hard little worker. But when I do laundry I take another 10 minutes when it comes out of the dryer to neatly fold T-shirts and other articles of clothing that look fine if hand 'pressed' and folded flat while warm....
She will do several loads of laundry and just keep throwing them in baskets until they are almost wrinkled beyond ironing...
She thinks she is helping by washing it for me but then it just gets worse from there on out. ARGH!! I WILL get to it before the week is out but she can't stand to see it in the hamper piling up.
I love her dearly, and we get along great 99% of the time but sometimes....
Did I mention that we work together full time as well??
On a lighter note.... I got 4 miles in this morning, walking lunges up the driveway, 100 crunches, 3 sets of curls & 'flys' with my 5#'s. 32 oz of water down the hatch already...
Damn, I feel like I'm eating like a queen on the days that I get those extra 300 or 400 calories!! I gotta say, if I don't eat 50-75% of my exercise calories back it takes longer to lose. I know, it's still a struggle to eat but it always pays off!! Just space it all out and eat healthy!!
I'm loving my breakfast of southwest egg beaters on a low carb tortilla with a slice of veggie 'cheese'. Today I tossed on a few chopped green chilis and some salsa which tasted great but not a good option behind the steering wheel. Not much possibility of avoiding the drips. Good thing I am wearing navy slacks today. Oops!
'No Sugar' (less sugar

) challenge is on a roll. Had a soy latte last night w/o SF syrup in it. The soy at Starbucks unfortunately is flavored vanilla and has sugar in it but it was nice and mild and tasted much healthier than a shot of syrup, SF or not.
My 'lunch' box is stock full of yummys!! My new vice... Snyder's of Hanover Peanut Butter pretzel sandwiches. Bought a big bag last night and portioned it out in snack size ziplocs as soon as I got home
I got a little tent last night for the little bro and I to crash in at the overnite relay for the Cancer Society tomorrow and Saturday. He is bringing sleeping bags. It's going to be a great time! I am so excited!!
So far the sun is shining! Rain is forcasted for later this afternoon...
Maybe we'll get just enough to skip out of watering the flowerbeds this weekend.
Better get back to work.... coffee with Emily at lunch today! Packed lunch eaten outside with a fellow CK'er.. Doesn't get much better than that!
573 miles ran...
6800 crunches...
...in 2006!!!
