Good Friday Morning!!
I am off to a good start again! All week has been a success!
I got up at 4:45, ran 3.5 miles, did 100 crunches and walking lunges up the driveway... I've choked down 32 oz of water...
Had my yummy Southwestern Egg Beaters wrapped in a low carb tortilla with some green chilies and a dash of Red Hot Sauce, I love

hot sauce on eggs... or salsa. But after yesterday's fiasco with drippy salsa in the car we might be saving that luxury for plates and weekends...
The 'No Sugar' challenge is going great so far.. of course we are approaching a weekend

. I WILL stick to it !! I have a very busy weekend ahead so I should be able to stay on track.
I have a check in today! Down 3 pounds in 10 days!! I really needed that and I weighed a solid 149 so being under the 150 mark is a huge motivator for me... This is usually where I start to slack off a little but not this time. I have 15 pounds to go to goal.
Once again it has been proven to me that I must eat back those exercised calories to lose consistently. Why are we so afraid of this? It's a shame that we are so ignorant of truly healthy eating habits.
I am reading 'Super Foods Health Style' (

Audrey and Kathy) and it is so awesome!! I love all the foods listed as super foods and I love the way he lists serving sizes as well. I hate it when they list a 'majic' food and then act like you can eat as much as you want because it's 'so good for you'...
Super Foods Today
-green and red bell pepper
-hummus (soy)
-fresh cherries (sidekick to blueberries)
-long grain wild rice (whole grain)
-steel cut oats (whole grain)
-got to find some dark chocolate...

-non-fat yogurt
-almonds (nuts)
-brussel sprouts (sidekick to broccoli)
Tonight is the relay for the Cancer Society. I have a little cooler packed with snacks for my little brother (who is running with me) and the tent and a deck of cards (for playing WAR). I forgot my gym mat to soften the ground a bit. Oh well, these ol' bones can take it. J. is in charge of rustling up some sleeping bags...
I am so looking forward to camping out with the little guy. He is so driven to be active even at 13. It's crazy. So I try to foster it as much as I can. He walked the Race For The Cure 5K with me last month. I didn't think at the time that he could run it. Tonight will be a good test because it's on a HS track so he can drop out whenever he wants.
We are signed up to run a 1/2 hr at 6:30pm tonight, 12:30am Sat just after midnight and again at 6:30am on Saturday. Then I have to go to my weekend job to water plants and Dad is coming to wisk J. away to his baseball pictures.
Have a great weekend everyone! Hugs to all!
See you MOnday most likely

Rebekah
576 miles ran....
6900 crunches....
....in 2006 !!
PS. Its a good thing I have started packing all my food again
Last night after a trip to Golf Galaxy and Best Buy (to exchange my dead MP3 player!!) Matt wanted to go to Unos!? I was a little hungry but already filled up with my daily allowance. Could you imagine how I would have done if I had to wait till 8:30pm to choose something at a pizza place under 350-400 calories!! For the love of Pete@*%^!!
12:22- after lunch... Crazy but true, I was on the hunt for just a bite of dark chocolate to round out my superfoods for today and one of the guys just offered me 1 dark choc hershey's kiss! How cool is that. Just Right too!
thanks buddy!
