I told a friend's Dad that I would find him some specific flowers that he wanted for his porch planters and I dropped the ball... Now he is upset and my friend is in the middle. I'm sorry
Drizzle all day.... don't think we will see the sun. I managed to get out the door before the neighbor was up. I feel like the most selfish person ever sometimes... The neighbor is 84 yrs old and the sweetest thing ever but he likes to catch me at the car on my way out to work and chat about whatever is going on in his upcoming day of activities.
It gets on my nerves because I don't have time
Sometimes I am completely in the dark as to how the 65 and up group handle today's world. They like to chat about every freakin' thought that crosses their mind.... at great length.. Favorite topic = their health issues or someone else's they know.
As some of you may remember, the MIL lives with us and I work with her all day as well. I don't care at all what 'so and so' said to 'so and so' the other day or who is in what hospital or who used to live on that corner or how much nicer the people there before kept the place.... or the fact that we have to walk through every open house in the neighborhood just because we HAVE to know what it looks like inside!?
The house is pretty small so it can get very overwhelming at times... I'm not a real detail person I guess. Just the facts, Mam!

On a more positive note I am having a great CK day. I have 2 options logged for dinner so I will drop one later depending on whether the DH decides to go out to eat tonight or I can escape to the protection of our own kitchen...
Damn! If I wasn't supposed to start the curse of Eve until next week I'd think I am full blown PMS'ing!! ARGH!
