Doing Better! I've been on track all week and here is my chance to
bust through a weekend!!
Funny story from my morning jog... I primarily run on the street. There are sidewalks but they are rough and I have tripped before, not to mention that jumping curbs at crosswalks wreaks havok on my left knee...

so I stick to the street. At 4:45am I don't encounter more than a handful of cars and this is a main thoroughfare in a residential area. Once in a while someone is in the curb lane and is so preoccupied they don't see me under the streetlights, wearing a reflective vest. At the last safe moment I ditch the curb for the grass between me and the sidewalk. This morning I encountered one of those 'said' oblivious drivers. As I lept up to the grass I wrapped myself around one of those heavy wire cables that they use to hold wooden power poles straight!

Holy Smokes, it nearly threw me back out into the street! I stumbled around to gain my balance and amazingly didn't fall down. I didn't break the skin, but I am def. going to experience some black and blueness.

Today is latte date lunch with my girl, Em!!

It's taken half my life to discover the absolute joy of a few great girlfriends.
Tomorrow I am leaving early to take my 4 youngest brothers to a matinee (Nacho Libre

OMG . LMAO . Jack Black) I haven't been to a theatre for a movie since last August and who knows how long before that... The movie is only 1:30 long, which will be nice. Not too much time in a dark theatre in the middle of a gorgeous summer day.

I'm not a big movie goer... maybe on a yucky, cold day and even then I'd rather rent a good movie and watch cuddled up on the couch...
I am staying with them all weekend... I work 7am to noonish Sat and Sun at the garden center and after that it is
POOL TIME!!
I am absolutely pooped. All this great running is kicking my a$$. Hopefully I am building some endurance here!

Early bedtime tonight.... Looking forward to some different scenery for the morning jog tomorrow while staying with the boys at Mom & Dad's. Not necessarily
new but different.
Not much else to report at the moment... really gonna miss the DH this weekend, unless I can convince him to endure the boys for a few hours by the pool with me maybe Saturday afternoon....
