View BECKAMARIE's food & exercise for this day

Good Morning!

I did OK last night... the dozen marshmallows and peanut butter at 10:30pm was certainly not necessary but it didn't put me over net so I'll live with it and move on...
I don't normally record mowing the lawn as exercise but I'll tell ya, after push mowing our front and back lawn and the neighbor's lawns 'back to back' without a break I was 'winded'. Phew!

Weigh in is tomorrow and I haven't been stellar this last week for sure, but a 1 lb loss would really be nice. I have my weekly 'pep' talk over a lunch hour latte with Em today. I think we are both going to need it going into this weekend... If I run every day this weekend and make Sat or Sun a long run I will in great shape for all the grilling out. NO SWEETS!!

It is a gorgeous day again... Thank God it's almost Friday! :)

I started this blog earlier and when I came back to my 'puter it was gone...

So I made it up at 4:30am, ran my 5.5 miles, did 20 (cheater) pushups (on my toes, but hands up on one step of the deck....) 60 walking lunges and 100 crunches holding a 5 lb weight over my head. I feel long and lean today, despite what the scale says... and despite what my fave pair of jeans say =D. I'll take 'feeling great' today... someday soon it will be 'looking great' and feeling great!

The DH and I are trying to decide which week in August to take vacation time. Our 1st ann  is the 20th (my final goal date) and I need absolutely every last one of those days to get to goal but he is seriously burning out at work so he is pushing for earlier in the month. Doesn't really matter... He is taking a weekend golf trip with the buddies the last weekend of July so that may hold him a little longer. We don't have any big plans. I'd be just as happy taking a few overnights to places within a few hours drive. There's really alot to do in the midwest and Ohio for that matter.

I would like to work on saving for a cruise in February so not spending a boat load on vacation this summer is not a big deal. Now, being able to take some time off together and doing something fun is!

I ate the last of my fave. breakfast cereal today and the last of the SW egg beaters last night so it is time to grocery shop. Always a scary spending venture. I think I will hit Trader Joe's and Wild Oats before the regular grocer or I won't have $ left for fun food....

The veggie garden is coming along! I need to thin out the basil and trin back the cilantro before it 'bolts'. Never a dull moment in a garden. Thank goodness it rained last night. I didn't have to water this am before work...

I'm off to the rest of the day! :hi:

Hugs to all!! Rebekah
