Ummm. We are going to call today a 'free day'. Even though I adamantly do not believe in them....

Got up and worked for Christie at the Garden Center... If you all remember I got off early yesterday so apparently no such generosity today. Nyah.
Had to stay a little later so I had to rush home to water my own plants
(which were still alive, surprisingly ) I went to Pier One to buy a chair that my Mom really wanted and then home again to hang out and get into trouble in the kitchen while waiting for Matty to get home from golfing....

Yeah, um, ate too much. Good and bad food alike. Just one of those days. Probably a mixture of being hungry from undereating last week and actually having too much time on the hands this morning...

Went with the Hubby to help stand up plants that had been blown over so the overhead sprinklers would cover them at his work (a plant nursery... go figure ) It was hot, hot, hot. But I got some exercise in moving shrubs around and running away from sprinklers (most of the time )

Dinner at friend's was lovely! 2 glasses of merlot later... I had a second helping of cornbread casserole stuff and a piece of jello cake (Mmmmm)
Such is the weekend.
