Good Monday Morning!!
Um, crazy weekend... too much food, not enough water and def. not enough sleep!!

But, got to visit with alot of extended family and SO glad that the hubby went with us!!

I held an infant nearly half the day and got all those... am I ever going to have a baby feelings????....

I do fine when I am not around an infant but as soon as I am around one I start to melt. I hate feeling like I have no control of emotions. I usually do have total control (ask my ex's what a cold-hearted snake I can be

) Just one of those normal things I'm guessing....
So today is regroup, water and reclaim those calories!! It's so good to be home. In fact so good that I did not leave the comfort of my bed this morning because I figured I would sleep another hour and a half and run extra hard the rest of the week! I needed the rest and I actually do feel pretty good right now.
Just gotta keep drinking that water!!
Got my nails done last night, man did they need it! Tonight I have GOT to go tan!!
Need to get flowers for a couple of pots on the tables on the deck where the pansies have burned out... the MIL's B-Day party is Wednesday night on the deck.... so I have a deadline
Not much else going on... the 5K went OK> It got a positive score because I ran it with friends and it was hosted by one of the coolest 'old' bars in town but it also reminded me why I don't run 5K's at 7pm on Friday night in the middle of a raging TOM, at that point when you are almost too exhausted to walk

Oh, and in 95% humidity and 90 degrees and 4 decent hills....
I have no idea what my official time was... the clock said something horrifying when I ran under it... I'll look it up and report. I hate short races.
Results are in: I finished in a pathetic 28:12 (9 min miles) 5th in my age group, uh yeah, pretty small race
) Better than I thought!
**Callie... report your mileage girl!! Doesn't bother me! It will keep me challenged to keep up with my plan. I want to get back up to 40 miles a week and this crappy weekend job has slowed me down. This weekend I am just going to get up early on Sat and Sun and DO it!! We are right on schedule together at the moment... I am not training for a marathon this year though so I may not get it all in before you but as long as I get 1,000 miles in before Jan. I will be pumped!! Damn, your fast. Unbelievably, I mean, you are NOT a middle of the packer like myself. You could qualify for Boston in your first marathon, no questions... I am so proud of your progress and watching you transform in so many ways. I just gotta keep up with you!

Love and hugs!!
