OK... RANT TIME ....
So this sales rep I will call 'Slick' was in yesterday... I have never liked him,,, blech. Anyways he's in here with some guy he's trying to impress so acts like he knows everybody here and I'm his buddy and everything... he attempts small talk and says ..'so, Rebekah's a runner, what do you run, a 2 or 3 minute mile?'
'No, I run about an 8 or 9 minute mile.'
'So, you're actually
jogging.'
'No, a 2 minute mile is 30 miles an hour. The world's fastest marathon...

Have I mentioned that I like running in the rain??? How about a
monsoon?

The pouring rain was luxurious but the ankle deep water wasn't. Oh well... the faithful tennies are parked in front of the dehumidifier today. That should do the trick!
It was raining so much that I was looking for an ark

. The best part of it is that today is the first day all week that there has not been an air quality alert. I cut 4 minutes off my time today??!! I'm not even going to mess with that. Just leave...

72F degrees when I stepped out to my 5am run... oh and air quality is reported as
'very bad'... Really? I just thought I was breathing through a wet sock!

I'm slow enough already... throw in a couple handicapping features and watch me crawl
Oh well, it's done and the sweat running in my eyes made me do my lunges with my eyes closed alot

... My push ups felt better today... getting there.
Bible study is always awesome. Great girls. Got home around 10pm and crawled into
ourbed...

ACK! When I got up to run this am at 5 it was already 72 degrees!! Good run though... I took the time to map a good trip through the neighborhood that we are house/dog sitting in.... I

the USTF web site !! That sattelite mapping thing saves me alot of time...
I had the evening planned to enjoy a big bag of 'smart pop' and a diet coke but the DH wanted steak and salad so I made a big salad with avacado and olives and blue cheese... YUMMY! Went a bit over in calories but my week's averages ...

Last morning on dog sitting duty... I hadn't planned being here still on Mon am (dog owners had a horrible accident... delayed {whole other story, GOd bless 'em} ).... so I hadn't map out a jogging route in a strange neighborhood.. I had to do several tasks before heading to work as well so with time constraints I took a brisk 20 min jog (2 to 2.5 miles for me??) I did my 60 walking lunges and push ups and crunches...
At work now just trying to make it through the day
