It's a little after 9am... which calculates to 58 hours until I see Matty!!

Did OK yesterday.... Didn't get enough water in My body is so sensitive to water that when I don't get enough my eyes are all puffy and my hands and feet are swollen. Blech!

I started out to run a couple miles before weights this am but my knee is really mad at me right now I think it is a combination of old shoes (have I been saying I was getting new ones now for oh, 2 weeks!! ) and a fat @$$. and maybe standing on concrete for 25 hours this weekend....

Oh. My. God. Someone has dialed 911 twice in the last 5 minutes and then hung up. Hence, I have to track the call to the extension that dialed it out (in error) and check if it was a valid call. Then I have to call the non-emergency police line and let them know it was a false alarm.
Yes, our phone system requires you to dial a '9' to get a line out and then if it is long distance certain people manage to slip up and dial a few too many 1's and trigger a '911' call.
Let's add a little excitement. Let's put one of those mis-dialed numbers into the fax machine and let it do this over and over as it auto redials to try to get the fax through.
To protect the innocent and because my darling hubby read this blog, I will not mention exactly WHO certain persons actually are....

There. Rant is now over. For now.

I am going to dinner with Katie & Becky tonight. I am really looking forward to it. We are going to one of my fave restaurants... Yummy 'Brio'! I think I will also indulge in a glass of wine. I really feel the need for one. Like right now.
OK, maybe I'll wait till dinner.....

I have a lunch date at Cosi's ( Monica) with Emily tomorrow! Yummy again! I am having to schedule little meals the rest of the day around these meals out but that's OK!

I really want to get my nails done so I stop chewing at my fingers like a wolverine.... But I don't think I will be able to squeeze it in between now and Thursday at noon. Damn job. If I didn't have to go to work, there wouldn't be any problems around here. tee hee....

It is absolutely gorgeous outside today. Crisp and sunny. Maybe Katie will want to eat outside on the patio. I love eating outside... when I would be the closing manager at S&H years ago we would meet up with a handful of other managers at Brio out on the patio with a few bottles of wine and have a great time.... till they kicked us out. Then the wild crowd would move onto Smith & Wollensky to swim in the fountain... I never quite made it that far. It was enough fun to hear about their adventures at Starbucks the next morning.... Geesh, I'm such a retail junkie

I have a bit of shipping to manage this morning.... sample buzzers to send to Italy, the UK, Canada & the Netherlands.... almost more fun than I can handle!

I think I will leave work at noon on Thursday.... I don't have to be at the airport until 3pm but I'm sure I will have some last minute errands to run and I don't want to be rushed.... That's the plan!

I better get back to work. I hope the next few days pass quickly enough!
