View BECKAMARIE's food & exercise for this day

WOW! 11:20 and I haven't blogged yet!
I have actually been getting into work 30-45 min. early just to get my CK stuff squared away but I get all wrapped up in work stuff and I don't get very far....
So here it is... weekend re-cap...

Sat.
Food report: OK.... a little over because of sharing nachos and eating a cheeseburger at lunch.... SHOULD have split burger with Katie.... good decisions.... ate only 4 or 5 fries (rest to Matty) and no alcohol!!
Worked downtown from 8-noon.... then watched the OSU game at Damon's with Matty & Katie  Good time! We proceeded to beat the crap out of Michigan State (big sigh of relief)....
Then home to bed early.... I watched TV for a little while and went sleepy by 9:30....
Sun.
Food report: EXCELLENT!! Stayed under cal. and walked with Katie!
Got up around 6am and got ready for the day.... went to get java with the hubby... it was nice to go to a coffee shop that we don't get to frequent so much anymore and see some old buddies
Then Matty headed home before 18 holes and I headed out to my running club's water station at the Columbus Marathon. :y: What a great day watching all those people working so hard to accomplish a wonderful thing. I wanted to see a fellow CKer from around here but somehow never connected. He finished with flying colors and I am so happy for him! What a huge accomplishment.... CONGRATS JAYB!! :rock1:
I got to see my TNT coach from Anchorage 2004 and get a big, sweaty hug  He is an incredible mentor and such a giving person....
Jim's influence in my life was one of those events that will mold part of me forever.... :thumbu2:
After tearing down from all that I met Katie at one of the metro parks and we walked 8 miles in 105 minutes! She is a fast walker! I'm not used to the movements of walking and I am frickin' sore today! But it was all good and my run this morning felt like a good stretch....
After our little power walk I made it home in time to change and catch up with Matty to go to our Sunday night bowling league (never a dull moment around here ... :eyebrows: )
At the end of that we headed home to bed!!

Today....

Slept in a little 5:20am :$
Ran 3.5 miles and showered and headed into work... I knew I didn't need to allow as much time as usual to get ready because Bev is taking a couple days off to do some house stuff and would prolly sleep in and not be up to 'work around'.... She did call to check in this am and she allowed herself some much needed rest and got up at 8:30
Tonight is a yard work/ Matty's exp. report/ laundry night so much to do but at least I will be home for a change....
Somewhere in there I need to look over the Bible Study before tomorrow....
Speaking of, 2 fellow Bible Study gals ran the 1/2 marathon on Sunday!! Woot Woot!! T did it in 2:06 and J in 1:53 !! That's my girls!! It was their first and I am so happy for them! I think we are doing a 10K together in November sometime.....

I will try to sneak back later.... work to do! RM

862 miles run in 2006!!....138 to go!! :rock1:

**3pm** Matty called me this morning from work... (always a surprise... always a blessing  )... the VP of the co. called to tell him that they are opening a new site in South N.J. and he is their first choice to run it. Now, the chances that they could make it worth his while are nil but the fact that he is in such high esteem with the corp. guys is so awesome! I am so proud of him and he works so much harder than any other person in that company I am sure. He is so worried that turning this down will lower his chances at a future shot in a different city but I don't know what to tell him. :afraid2:
I'm sure we will get to talk about it more tonight.... poor thing. These are the days that I am glad that I am not single or that I am not the 'man of the house'....
