Woo Hoo! T.G.I.F.

I didn't think that we would be staying at M&L's till tonight but it worked out just fine and I had a nice morning making a little, warm breakfast for Matty & I and feeding the black lab that we are babysitting. Just talking to the dog and puttering around. It's really nice to play house and to see my naked hubby come walking into the kitchen while I am drinking a fresh cup of coffee .... we don't do that so much when at home with the MIL....

I got up at 5 but didn't run this am.... It was cold and drizzly and I was in a strange neighborhood. I should be able to get a little jog in tonight and get back 'home' in time to take a warm bubble bath....

The 'Pumpkin Show' went well. I had a cup of coffee to keep warm and then a caramel apple which was on the plan for dinner

JJ had a polish sausage with all the onions and peppers and cheese and it looked fabulous but I felt so great in my jeans (at least I wasn't 'pushing' the seams of the size I am currently wearing ) and it was enough motivation to stick to it and realize that I may be wearing a smaller size in a month!

We almost didn't get out of the parking in a really muddy field! Quite a few rear wheel drive trucks were floundering about but JJ's Neon just floated on out!

The sun may peek out today... that would be so nice....

Matty is planning on running down to the farm after work on Sat so tonight is our big hurrah for the weekend... maybe some cuddling and TV??

Damn Tori! had to go bringin' up the whole 'baby' thing *big sigh* maybe someday.... I haven't heard anything about my brother's situation with his wife... she is due in November. I don't know if she is sticking with the counseling or going back to her old habits?? and when I want to get really snotty internally... I wonder 'why do they have 2 beautiful boys? That she's not particularly crazy about (no pun intended... ok, that was awful... ) and I'm not invited to have a relationship with??' My only chance at being an important part of a child's life may be through my brother's lives.
Come on JP! I know your girlfriend is only 19 but we love eachother, she's an absolute angel and I need a niece!!

Did I mention that I had a wonderful morning putting around M&L's house in their absence and doing whatever I wanted, wherever I wanted, whenever I wanted?? Really, it is just fine when you live with as great a MIL as I do but still.... It's still living with a parent
