Monday am....
A 'so-so' weekend... I didn't really count calories but I ate very moderately and stopped eating when I was not hungry.... YIKES! The scale was horrifying this morning!

I am crossing my fingers and hoping that it was a few more carbs and not drinking enough water... I thought I had plenty of water yesterday but this morning my right eye was puffy even up into my eyelid which they do when I am dehydrating... I don't know, I was
so confused when I weighed in, I can tell you that!
So no more scale until Friday... sheesh!
Friday night I went back to the house we 'sat' for the weekend and fed the puppy and let him out and then ran a little over 3 miles. Big time tummy troubles...

blech. Then I met Matty at dinner and had a bowl of French Onion soup since they weren't serving either of my salads with the field green and spinach shortage.... Come to think of it, I did eat alot of higher sodium stuff this weekend. Lordie, I hope that will account for all the water logging....
Saturday we both went our ways to work and Matty left for the farm after his job. I was only scheduled for 8-noon but the boss was busy at home and I told her I would stay most of the day. I ended up leaving at 4pm which I forgot was right at the end of the OSU/IN game. I got stuck in 45 min of traffic heading home anyways so I could have stayed longer... but you know, oddly enough I would rather have been stuck in the car in bumper to bumper traffic than still at the shop. I love it when it's just me there early in the morning but it's turning more and more into a 'counter job' so I told her I was off the schedule now except for emergencies, and I feel
so relieved... With the holidays coming and wanting to go hunting more I just have to let it go.....
Matty got a turkey on Sat!! I really wanted to get a turkey this year but there is no way I can get out before gun season is over, and let's just say I don't think any of the feathered guys are worried about me with my bow.
Sunday I worked in the morning again but this time I left at noon and headed over to a volunteer fair and orientation for the Columbus affiliate of the Susan G. Komen foundation.... It was a great time to find a volunteer opportunity and I am excited to try something new!! (maybe grant reviewing!!)
Matty met me there afterward and we got lunch... me french onion soup again

We snuck home for an hour of hibernation before bowling at our Sunday night league... That went better than ever!
This morning I
did get up and run 3.5 and am drinking water as quickly as I can get it down
I really should do some laundry tonight.... hopefully there will be something on TV...
The group run is at Sharon Woods this Wed. One of my fave trails so that will be cool!
Oh, and by the way 'Skinny Face'!! Talk about Luck O' The Irish!! Holy Cow! That game was crazy!!
GO BUCKS!! #1!!
Better get to work... I'll sneak back later....

Becka
885 miles run in 2006!... 115 to go!
** LOL ... the second person this week has told me that I remind them of Dharma on Dharma & Greg....

That's kind of funny... Not really a bad thing, just funny. I got that alot when I had shorter hair but it's been awhile so I kind of forgot.
Of course there is alot of flak flying around about the new blogger page... about info being more public now and all.. um, I'm pretty sure that your profile was either private or public before and I don't think they are putting private profiles up on your blog page.... I could be wrong but I like the new format. I like being able to shoot a comment right away instead of going back out into PM's. Oh well, IMHO it rocks!
Running has been going better lately. Must get my rest and build gradually into some longer runs. Now that I am off of the part time job on weekends I can get some long runs in around hunting trips and holiday commitments....
Matty is talking about Thanksgiving at John & Connie's which is fine but I need to tell my Mom ASAP if that's the case because we just started talking about it the week before Matt thought about staying down at the farm.... yikes.
I got alot of work done this a.m. so now I am just winding down and it is only 3:45.... I have another stack to tackle and I may do that as soon as I am done here....
I love my family here at CK. Thank you all for putting up with me.

Becka,
You better start worring about my Scarlet Knights from the great State of NJ. Still undefeated and looking to take down any team that stands in their way.
But yes the Irish did get very lucky this weekend. Not a great showing especialy being at home.
Tennessee was crazy. 107,694 fans at the game this past Saturday. I have never heard that loud of a crowd. Of course I have not been to the horseshoe to see Ohio St vs. Mich. Yet that is, maybe in two years..

:( Maybe it was the sodium that got you this weekend! Seems like you are sure trying hard enough. I am SURE Friday's weigh in will be GREAT! Keep after it!
