So, rough day yesterday. Lost a wonderful memory from my childhood and a man who touched many, many people. It did reunite me with my father's side of the family whom I have lost touch with just because of logistical reasons and such.... It was great to see them all and hopefully we can stay connected a little better.

I actually told a cousin that I had been married, divorced and remarried since I had seen her last. LOL !! That is crazy!!

I miss Matty horribly... I don't always miss him quite so much because I stay really busy but I really miss him today.

I have an overnight party for a gal turning 40 this weekend. We are going to a cabin on a lake That will be fun. At first when I was packing a bag this morning I was grumpy about it but since I am so mopey today I am looking forward to some distraction. I still need to pick up a gift card... argh!

Had to re-schedule baby Dr appt for this afternoon because we got in too late yesterday... so I am swamped from yesterday being off and I am leaving early for Dr so.... is me today...

The house/dog sitting gig couldn't have come at a better time... I show up for duty tomorrow after returning from the ol' slumber party and am there all week! Matty will be in and out from his hunting adventures so I will have alot more solitary time than usual. I tend to fill this up with many activities typically but I am working on slowing that down a little.

Maybe it's the friggin' 20 degrees that I awoke to this morning!!

I better get back to work. Lots of catching up from yesterday to do!!
