Last night was Bible Study.... 5 of us have been meeting for the better part of a year and have gradually moved to more topical studies that allow for a lot less preparation. So ANYWAYS.... study has become more and more of a social hour and less and less of a spiritual growing time.
We decided that whoever wanted to move on and re-commit to more in-depth study needed to agree to some ground rules. Like start time, closing at a regular time, commiting to attending fully prepared and getting together the first Friday night of every month as we can for a social time.
I think this was a huge step and am very excited about the new study we are starting after Thanksgiving... We are using a Nav Press Study book on the book of Hebrews and then accompanying it with a Max Lucado book on making Hebrews more applicable in everyday life.
I need this.
It is very important to me and we don't attend a regular Sunday service right now with all of life's other activities so I want this outlet to be worthwhile.
I love these girls and I think that sticking to the study and trying to have social activities at separate times will help us grow together even more.

Lord... Every aspect of the media is begging the fans here to keep it under control here this Sat for the big game. Granted, it had gotten out of control in the past but not anywhere like our big comeback against Michigan 4 years ago. That was not so good. Cars, couches, dumpsters all in flames.... glass bottles thrown at policeman and bystanders.... oops.

So everyone from Mayor Coleman to Coach Tressle is asking us to keep it in check. Um, good luck with that.

Saturday I am dropping Matty off at work by 7am then meeting a running group at 8am for about 6 miles or so... then home to shower and back to pick Matt up after work about 12:30 and off to his Aunt & Uncles' to watch the game!! We stay at their house when we go hunting so the next morning we can 'sight in' my new scope ( that Matty got me yesterday.. ) for my muzzle loader. Last night he worked on sighting in my crossbow for me... Maybe we'll have some time to sit in a stand (as in, deer stand) a few hours before we have to head back to Columbus...

Matt is making his awesome venison chili to take on Sat. YUMMY!!

I made it out to run this am and squeezed in a few crunches... It's supposed to rain today and tomorrow but later in the day so I should have a dry morning to run tomorrow as well...

We are having an OSU/MI tailgate- cookout here at work on Friday... We aren't allowed to call it the Beat Michigan party because that is not P.C. Whatever...
LOL... a class of 4 year olds on the radio just sang an OSU song.. so cute.

ARGH So there is a BIG Board of Director's Meeting tomorrow and they have me doing a million things including securing breakfast and lunch for them tomorrow. As dysfunctional as my company is that means I have to front the cost of both meals for a dozen people. I told the CEO That I could do that if I had a reimbursment check signed for me tomorrow. Seriously! I know it's not much, but they have owed me $20.00 for almost a month now!
I'm sorry that people who make 6 figures forget how it feels to make so little... then again, they prolly never have.... OK, I'm fat and poor now.
