Matty won't be able to read this today... So I can say all kinds of crazy things... LOL

He's on a pheasant hunt today ( Nancy Jo!) with a client, his boss, his boss' son and his uncle. He's pretty happy that his uncle got to go. They are super close and will have a great day. His boss has a black lab, 'Mo' who is a great bird dog and carries the birds back after they fall. It's an awesome thing to watch a 'working dog' do his thing...

Matt had a great idea for the boss' gift this year! Every year we buy a GC to a restaurant or something for him personally and the staff usually spends about $75.00 on the gift. Every year 'boss' says... oh, you shouldn't do this... blah, blah, blah... They rarely use the restaurant gift cards because the wife doesn't like to go out too much... She's very nice but very shy. Then the other thing is that the wife's B-Day is this month and 'boss' is always saying that he can't think of anything to get after 30 years of marriage.... SO.... Matt & I went out last night and bought a darling Liz Claiborne top and sweater for the wife and we are going to say that for being that great wife behind the boss we bought HER something this year...

I know it is a little odd but it really is a great idea and the boss will completely love it and I know the wife will. This is a very tight group who do a lot of things together so it will be a cute surprise. I thought that was pretty ingenius of my man

Speaking of Mr. Matt.... he told me that he ordered my B-Day gift but it would not be here in time for my B-Day tomorrow.... I have my suspicions and I'm afraid he will scroll back to today and see them but oh well, I am thinking it may be a tree stand. I really want my own stand down at the farm and I have a feeling that is what he ordered... That would be awesome! But no matter what it is it will be awesome.. because Matty is just great at gifts.

I had today off on the running schedule.... it was soooo nice to sleep till 5:45. I am down 3/4 of a pound since yesterday's panic mystery gain so who knows what my body is up to....

Last night Em & I exchanged B-Day gifts She got me a new yoga mat, a yoga/pilates DVD and a mat bag! yay!! I am really excited to start the DVD. I've wanted to do this for a while and she knew I needed some supplies to get going. We had yummy Cosi's salads and split a piece of bread and had a great time.... Love me some Em....

Wow. I started this an hour ago... The new boss is killin' me! I was instructed to capture everyone's arrival times starting this week and I tried to keep it quiet but some people are catching on and are not happy about it. I feel like a rat Although I've got to say that over half the office is typically half an hour late. It's one of those things though that hasn't been enforced in years so I'm sure it just needs to be re-visited. Bah. I hate this.
