Good Friday morning!!

I stopped at Starbucks ( Cin! ) for my Happy B-Day to me triple, grande, 8-pump SF vanilla, non-fat latte Don't you love customers like me??

Matty's company Christmas dinner was last night and we had a great time. The one couple had their 5 week old daughter with them and she became mine for a little while She was beautiful and so soft and warm ((big sigh))

It's Friday and I am loving that!! We are going to the 'Fish Market' for dinner. YAY! It is SO yummy and the place where Matt & I had our first real date out. It was funny because we worked together and tried to sneak around the fact that we had both changed into nicer clothes at work and left at the same time. I wonder how long the boss actually knew?? We lived together and worked together about a year and a half before we got married. Actually if we hadn't gotten married they never would have said a thing about our relationship and job situation. We worked awesome together and both did a fantastic job for the company and took a lot of pride in our work.
But policy is policy, stupid or not...
So, anyways... Matt's party is just as much fun for me because I worked with all these people too... once upon a time.

It's Friday and JEANS day at work! At least I am keeping in jeans day and haven't been told otherwise by the new boss yet... I am super comfy in my sweatshirt and blue jeans... I have no idea what to wear to dinner????

My Mom is kinda frustrating the heck out of me. She is one of my best friends and in the past 3 yeras or so we have both changed and grown together... part of that is that she was on some anti-depressant stuff and other hormone therapy for menopause. It really helped her from my point of view but like most people she hated the various side affects and has quit taking anything.
I kind of lost my patience with her and told her she was just going to have to stick it out at her current job (that she hates... like ALL the others) ... she said I always side with my Dad and she has not answered my calls these last 2 days and that is not like here at all....
I was really worried that she would not call me today for my B-Day since I had talked to my bro. on her cell phone while she was closeby when he called to say Happy B-Day before he left for school... But she called a little while ago and it made me a little teary.... I hate when I don't have control of my emotions... I feel like SUCH a girl!! :blush: She is clearly NOT OK but she faked it as best as she could and did say I love you at the end of our chat... Oh bother... ( my fave. Eyeore quote... hello?! Winnie the Pooh!!)

OK... so much to say! But work to be done
