LOL... I slept in till 6:00 today! Holy crap. It felt great though and I feel really rested. My new training schedule has the day after a long run off every week and although I feel that I should exercise some every day I am going to let myself take these 'off' days in the running plan. So... short story long, I stayed in the covers and snoozed.... :dazed:

Matty just looks at me and shakes his head... :laugh5:

Last night he wanted to get dinner out so we met close to home and ordered an appetizer and a burger and split them. I love when we do that... :love:

I had one bloody mary (I have really been hankering for those lately) and I was on the phone (that's a surprise... :talking:

) and Matt ordered me a second one... wonder what he was thinking?? :eyebrows:

The first drink had already hit me so the second one put me over a little... No worse for the wear this morning thank God.

We have this friend who makes killer bloody mary's... with Absolute Peppar and tobasco and big green olives... Mmmmm. I always beg her to make them when we visit.

Today is just another work day I guess... The just popped that we were closing on Friday which is great if you have any PTO left. I was planning on working Friday and then taking next Thur & Fri off for a 5 day New Year's weekend. It looks like I will have to take Friday off unpaid. Gee, thanks for the day off, I think??? :frog:

Tonight is Bible Study. I am tempted to go shopping with Matty but I haven't asked him... he may just want to shop himself. I will call him later. :love:

He had a great idea for giving MIL her framed cross stitch I made... He said to put his Aunt's name on it under our tree and when we take the Aunt & Uncle gifts on Christmas afternoon, load it up like it is Aunt Trish's. At their house later when we exchange gifts, hand it to MIL and tell her it is hers. Just to throw her off track a little...

He's so stinkin' smart! :thumbu2:

I knew I married him for more than just his looks.... :kiss:

By the way I have been listening to the all day Christmas music station exclusively since Thanksgiving!

Alright,,, I'd better get to whatever I am doing around here today...

Useless facts about me...

- I swam in Jr High and I was a great breast-stroker because I was so long... I :loved: it! Although I think all those years of that funny kick is why I run funny and 'bounce' when I walk

- I grew 4" the summer between 13 and 14 years old...

- I love turquoise jewelry.. My G-mother has tons of it from when she lived in Los-Alamos, NM

- My mother is an identical twin. She and her sister both married 'Ralph's' 7 yrs. older than them. Their first born (and only) daughters were born at 9:36 pm 3 days apart. Twins are weird!! :wink3:

- I have been with Matty 3 years in May and I have never met his brother, SIL and 2 nieces...

- I wear a sz 10 shoe.

Oh, I forgot to mention.. I have twin aunts. You are right the connection between twins being wierd. I could tell you some stories that will make your skin crawl about things that they did that were similar (living in two different states). Like the birthday or Christmas cards on numerous ocassions that they sent THAT WERE IDENTICAL. These are the Hallmark type that they had to physically go pick out. Spooky!!

Well, take the Friday as a day to get a bunch of stuff done that you normally couldnt.. It sucks because of the money, but sometimes time is priceless.. :kiss: :kiss:

I LOVE bloody mary's---but I drink them virgin... Too many antidepressants in my system to do otherwise!!! I may stop and get the stuff on the way home tonighit.... That sounds pretty good!! :kiss: :kiss:

Don't you agree that sleeping in is one of the GREATEST pleasures on earth? :yawn1: :yawn1: Sigh. One of my students bought me a bottle of Pomegranatini mix (sans the alcohol), and I cannot WAIT to pop that baby out on Friday after school (I have to teach all day). Sometimes a good drink just makes things better! :tongue10:

MMmmmm. When I met RPS, he was working as a bartender. His Bloody Mary's are part of the reason I fell for him. They were super tasty. ........ Matty :love: :love: knew exactly what he was doing ordering you a second one. And don't forget to log the minutes. ;)
