I was going to start with Friday and Saturday and maybe some Sunday but I will make that re-cap brief...

Friday I played hooky from work and helped my brother J shop for a diamond necklace for his GF in the morning. We also made a fly-by to Wal-Mart and Best Buy and Golf Galaxy.... Wrapped up all the shopping left to do and headed to lunch at TGI Fridays...

We went home and chilled for an hour and then headed to Cincy to visit the Bro, SIL and the 2 nephews. They are absolutely precious. I held the 2 mo. old a lot and tried to cuddle the 18 mo old. We don't see them often so I try to take it slow with him. He does great after awhile and Matty & I got down there a few hours before the rest of the family so we had lots of time to talk before the crowd came in. It seemed like a great visit and we stayed late into the evening....

Sat. we hung out and lounged and went bowling together with all our new gear. It was the inaugural visit to the 'alley' for our new bags We held our heads high as we no longer had to come slinking in with our heads low and our shoes in one hand and ball in the other... How do bowlers even hold their heads high, you ask? They do, dear friends, they do.

Sun. we got up and Matt created a baked ham from a recipe off the cooking channel that he has been drooling over. It was super, duper yummy with a honey/cloves/dijon mustard and mandarin orange glaze.... Then we took a big step and watched the 2nd movie ever in a theatre together! LOL.... Seriously. Neither of us likes to be locked up for that long on most days but it seemed like a lazy enough day so we went to see The Good Shepherd (my choice ) with Matt Damon. Wow. Great movie!
Turns out, we could have delivered a few gifts because we ended up missing a couple friends that had evening plans. Oh well....
We saw previews for Rainy's movie... Night At The Museum... There is an I-Max right near where I work... I will have to sneak over some night...

MIL wasn't thrilled but we convinced her to open gifts at home on Sun. night so we wouldn't be as rushed in the morning to head out to my fam.... Even though Matt & I had agreed that we weren't exchanging anything because of our recent bowling equipment purchase... there was a Tommy watch and a boxed Obsession set for me and a personalized ornament for Matty... I got the best end of the deal, as usual.

Monday was Christmas... which is a whole story in itself but will have to wait as we are off to deliver those missed gift drops from Sunday..... Be back soon
