OK... so Christmas Day dawned rainy and cool... no snow made us blue
We rose around 6am. and got ready for the day and packed up the sleigh (er, um, the Buick) and made our way over to my parents...Mom had a brunch spread of fruit laden tarts and egg casseroles.... After we had eaten and driven at least one brother to insanity by taking our time with the food we opened gifts with my family. A generally modest affair but enjoyed by all. I was going to start with Friday and Saturday and maybe some Sunday but I will make that re-cap brief...Friday I played hooky from work and helped my brother J shop for a diamond necklace for his GF in the morning. We also made a fly-by to Wal-Mart and Best Buy and Golf Galaxy.... Wrapped up all the shopping left to do and headed to lunch at TGI Fridays...

Wow. Holiday slump. Haven't been watching the food as carefully as I should and I have had alcohol 5 out of the last 6 days... (so unlike me, really!
) I slept through running today... I do this once in awhile which I know full well would be fine if I was at goal weight.But it's painfully apparent that I am not.
Last night over 2 Bud Lights at dinner Matty was trying to find out if he was supposed to start helping me get back on track with a loving nudge or if he was safer keeping...
