Sheesh! It's just because work is getting busier... I am getting more and more handed to me. Which is perfectly fine, just keeps me hoppin'!
That job that I wanted to apply for popped up on-line finally on their Company website so I submitted my resume this morning and told my friend that I had. Here goes nothin' Keep your fingers crossed!
Matt forwarded me an email about Girl Scout Cookie orders from a friend. I emailed him back that I ordered some and he replied asking if I ordered with 'pregnant eyes' and will there be a Yellow Frieght truck outside when he gets home tonight?? lol.
I admit that I have allowed myself too much leeway this last week with the funeral and all but I did great the week before and so far great yesterday and today so I am pleased. I am 15-20 pounds chubby right now for me, but I am OK. I know it makes him nervous that I am OK with being that much overweight but don't worry honey... I will remember how much you like your thin and athletic wife... in about a year. Just hang in there love... I promise.
He has kept a good sense of humor about all of this so far... I am sure that he will keep it up. I am really anxious for the Dr visit. Then it will sink in and we can get really excited about this little life that is growing...
Last night was Bible Study and we had a nice time. I was leading and the lesson was on God's rest... "... Come unto me all you who are burdened and heavy laden and I will give you rest..." It was a very comforting lesson. I wrote a few more verses down to share with you all but I left my bag in the car so I will have to share them tomorrow....
The sun is out but we are finally feeling winter temps. at least for a few days. Back to the low 50's by the weekend again and what is up with this rain?? Alright already!
Better go 'git er done' as they say down around the 'farm'..

So, been meaning to ask about the work thing since the whole 'my new boss is doing evaluations and wants me to justify my job title' thing ... I take it the 'the job I want to apply for' part answers my question? (And if that Yellow Freight truck gets hijacked, I can't say for sure, but I may know where they end up.)
