Starting Friday afternoon... I got my hair trimmed by a new gal. It's pretty hard to screw up my hair, being that it is all curly and forgiving. I opted not to touch up my highlights because of the baby. I know it's prolly not a big deal but it really doesn't look bad as is. Believe me, if it did, my Mom would have told me.
It needed an inch or so trimmed off because it was icky and fried. So it's all nice and bouncy now but I love it being super long. It's still below my shoulder but it doesn't feel so long anymore. Oh well, a trim was long overdue!
It grows fast enough....

We stopped by Matt's boss' home in the evening for one last visit before leaving town for a long weekend. Matt tried to line up several mutual friends to call and see how they were while we were gone but I don't know how that went.

Then we went home to finish packing for a wedding and a few extra days to knock around... I packed for 50 and 60 degree weather and of course it ended up being in the low 70's but hey, who's complaining about that???

Our flight left Cloumbus at 7:20 am so we left for the airport at 5 on Sat morning. We had time to grab some breakfast at the airport and then leave on time :y: Actually we never had a delay the entire trip.
After a brief layover in Memphis we got to Pensacola by 11:00 am and had the whole day to help prepare for the upcoming wedding... After about 20 errand stops.. (ok, maybe 5) we had tables, china, cakes, petite fours, linens and glass ball ornaments in tow...

It's hard to explain my Aunt in action but she has been a florist in the gulf area for almost 30 years and now gets to pick and choose her clients. She did a wedding this year where the flower bill alone was $45,000.00. Needless to say she is inventive and incredible and I always love just being around to help and watch it all come together.

If the Good Lord hadn't brought Matty into my life I would have moved down there after my divorce and worked full time for my Aunt. But fate is funny and I know my life would never have been as peaceful and fulfilling as it is with my love.

It took days to set the decorations up and we helped the last day.. the wedding was a mix of traditional Jewish and messianic I think... So it was on Sunday. They quoted a lot of hebrew blessings in hebrew and did a lot of other neat things.

My cousin looked beautiful and I am so happy for them. He is a very nice guy. We got to spend some time with them as they were able to pick us up at the airport. We got lucky with that. If they hadn't been able to sneak away and snatch us up we wouldn't have been able to see them much at all...

Sunday night they started the tear down but we finished a lot of it on Monday morning. It was all outside. Then Monday we grabbed some great lunch at an Irish Pub and went to the Naval Museum. My Grandfather is buried there but I would have to find out where exactly... We were with a cousin and her hubby, their 8 yr old son, my Aunt and her 3 grandbabies. It was a nice afternoon of visiting and learning. We headed up to Orange Beach and Perdido Key area to walk on the beach a little in a crazy fog! Then we got home and my other cousin made this incredible fish meal that was to die for...

Tuesday we helped clean up the house and puttered around in the morning. The only people left at the house were my Aunt and Uncle and they took us to lunch and then onto the airport... We made it home after 10pm on Tuesday so we decided to take Wed off together and get some household chores caught up. It was nice to take it slow.

I am feeling very green periodically throughout the day and my appetite is wacky. Some days I can't think of food and others it feels like food is the only thing that curbs the nausea. I have a chronic headache but more of a woozy headache. The kind that makes you take deep breaths. It's all fine, just funny ;) and so very different.

I will continue this in the morning I just wanted to let you all know that I am alive and breathing... Missed you all SO much. Becka

:hi: Becka! Welcome back! I was thinking about you earlier. I had a headache every day until my 2nd trimester. Tylenol is perfectly safe & OK to take (which you'll find out at your first doc appt) as you need it. The stuff never helped my headaches before I was pg, so I was skeptical, but it worked for me this time. I did try to only take 1 dose when I really needed it, though.
