We had a lovely dinner out last night. I had greek salad and sea scallops and a bite of Matt's filet... I rarely have tummy distress and I hate to burden you all with this kind of information

but let's just say that I have never had GI cramps so bad that I thought I was going to cry on the way home. Then when I got home I ran into the house and straight to the bathroom... Ugh. Matt told
me to leave the keys on the stairs (they were his set) through the bathroom door and for some crazy reason I thought he told me
he was leaving them on the stairs... I figured that he had pulled them out of the door as he followed my mad dash inside. So this morning when he was searching for them and I started to realize that he never had them last night I knew right away they were still hanging in the lock on the outside of the front door all night. Sheesh. It's a darn good thing I am married to the sweetest man in the world... Even now when I do something stupid like that I flinch a little inside preparing for the wrath of the ex.... God bless Matty. Poor thing. Putting up with a pregnant blonde...
I was nervous at dinner because only one person didn't know I was pregnant because she works where I am trying to get hired and I don't want her to be in an awkward position of knowing when I haven't told them at all... I'm so excited to tell her the great news but it will have to wait!
We were supposed to go to dinner again tonight with another one of Matt's vendors but he is going to Cincinatti tomorrow for work overnight and I am pooped today so I think he is going to cancel... If I didn't have Bible Study I would be going straight to bed when I got home but I'll make it a few more hours with the girls. I only have to go about 10 minutes from home tonight, so it won't be so bad.
It's still kind of slick out here and there with roads and sidewalks re-freezing overnight. I am an absolute freak on ice maybe because I feel so far away from the ground at 5'10". I carried the recycle bin down to the curb this morning in my dressy work shoes with slick soles and was certain that I was going to bite it. But I made it all in one piece so I am surviving yet another day I think
I have been doing much better drinking all my water these last couple of days and I think that is helping... I have also developed this odd craving for tapioca pudding...

I almost stopped on my way home last night before going out to dinner and I was thinking... what are you doing??? You are going out to dinner in a couple hours!! Maybe tonight on my way home from Study I will swing by the grocery and get some. lol.... I have subconciously avoided coffee since we've been home from Fl. Even there I had maybe 2 or 3 cups that I never finished. I've just kind of phased off of it. Now I won't worry about having a latte on the weekends with Matty. Eggbert won't be OD'ing on caffiene anytime soon.
MIL wants to tell her 2 sisters about Eggbert but I know we want to tell them ourselves so we may try to make a quick run to the 'farm' this Saturday or Sunday morning. Then we can see the horses!
I better go... work is staring at me.

Hugs to all!

Weird facts...
*I brush my teeth with hot water ... It makes the bristles softer.
*I hate tax time... something always goes wrong with mine and I rarely get a return back

*I'm obsessed with 'baubles' and I feel naked without earrings or a necklace... I made Matt stop at the store once when I forgot to put a pair on before I left the house...
16:37:00 EST --OMG, I can't believe how gassy I am. I have never been like this before and all the books say it's a sure thing during pregnancy. Wow, I guess they are right. Blech. I feel like the Good Year blimp. It's not like you are 'farty' or anything. But that's the problem. None of it comes out. You just fill up with air and feel all bloaty. EWww! I think I will be sticking much smaller portions of very mild foods for awhile. Yikes. Before I float away. Sheesh.

The key thing has happened to me before, too. At my wedding, I left my keys hanging from the trunk of my car! I hate not having earrings on since my ears are pierced.

Sleep, sleep, sleep if you need to. This is a lot of big changes and listen to all those moms on the board. They know.

I had that GI thing once after eating scallops. They close the shellfishing when there's heavy rain, due to sewage overflow into the ocean (isn't that gross???) so I only get the big deep-sea scallops. So, it might not from being pregnant!!! During my pregnancy with the twins I couldn't drink coffee at all - couldn't even stand the smell of it.

I think all companies (and schools) should HAVE a nap time so that we could take a little snooze during the day. Wouldn't that rock? Like kindergarten?

Okay Missy, here's a mom type of advice~~~~ Do not carry those bins outside on ice ever again! You have your wonderful Matty do that, please. I do NOT want to hear of you falling. And it's only because I care!

When I was a kid my dad used to tell me all sorts of tall tales -- one was that tapioca pudding was made with fish eyes! I think his tatcic was to gross me out so he could eat my pudding -- needless to say i wouldnt eat it for YEARS!

Hi Becka - Blonde AND Pregnant?! Matty's in trouble (hehehe)! Just kidding - but pregnancy certainly does do strange things to our brains. Treat yourself to some tapioca pudding if you still want some! It's really OK. Sorry about your tummy issues last night. I hope you are all better today. Keep drinking that water - it helps in all aspects these days. And (last comment, I promise), please be careful this winter with slipping/falling. Now more than ever you need to watch that - wear your snowboots to work & change when you arrive if you have to.

You're the bauble girl and I am the anti-baubler. It drives Raziel crazy if I forget to put jewelry on when we leave the house. You girly-girls! ... Peppermint tea is also good for the icky belly. ... Have a great day.
