Wow. It's 10:16:45 and I haven't even opened CK yet today!

Had a good weekend. I slept till 8:00 Sat and Sun (I know it drives poor Matty insane :) ) But he didn't say a word and he worked like a dog all weekend to get the upstairs remodel project rolling.

He got alot done and it's really taking shape! I think we are going to try to work on it a little every evening that we can... I know as Matty is reading this he is smiling... :laugh5: 'we' refers to him working and me occasionally handing him something or just watching him and chatting with him... I managed to stay out of bed once I was up all weekend but I would have loved to go lie down around 2pm both days... But as long as Matty didn't mind if I sat still and sipped my water I was OK.

We have wanted to get down to the 'farm' to tell Uncle John & Aunt Connie about Eggbert but we finally just had to settle for a phone call yesterday. They are so excited! John said he better start looking for a pony to add to the horse barn. :) Connie said she is already having John pull their 34 yr old son's baby crib out of the basement and setting it up for when we visit. They are too sweet. One of the best parts about being preggo is feeling how happy everyone is about it. Connie wanted to know who she could tell so I had to assign her to Uncle Freddie and I told her she better leave their other sister to MIL... Delegating announcement responsibilities is a new experience. :P

At first I was getting frustrated with all the Mom's and Aunts and friends of Mom's in our life asking me what we had picked out and what kind of furniture did we want and all these crazy questions about colors and bedding and stuff... Then I realized that I need to slow down and pay attention to what they are asking because I know they only want to help. I'm sure that the 'sister' (MIL's) will want to help us with a piece of furniture and they just want to know that they can get something that we want. It's so overwhelming when people want to help so much and I need to get better about letting them help and reassuring them that we like specific things. :$

All in all, I haven't been doing too bad with food really. Sat we got pizza but I didn't go crazy and then the only other thing I had was a 2 egg/ green pepper and onion omelet. MIL brought fried fish dinners home and I peeled the batter off of one piece of fish and ate the meat out and some mac salad and maybe 3 french fries. It was OK, but when she first brought it in I thought my tummy was going to flip out. I was going to find some brothy noodle soup but she had actually brought some for ME she said so I had to re-evaluate. It worked out fine. :y:
Yesterday I had a hot tea instead of a latte and then one of those scrumptious spinach & artichoke stratas at Panera. But then I didn't have anything until an early dinner and only had a burger patty on a bun and a spoonful of coleslaw and 1 onion ring. Then at bowling we had a 'Super Bowl' snack potluck and I had half a dozen meatballs and a BBQ sandwich and a brownie. Then I found the fresh veggies and had a good handful of bell peppers and celery and this yummy sour cream dip. I need to get to the grocery and get some more fresh veggies and such to have at lunch.

For Breakfast today I had an english muffin with PB and a sliced banana on it. Pretty yummy! I can't remember who told me here that 'nanas might soothe my tummy but I thought I'd try it. ;) Believe me, I'll try anything. Which reminds me, I need to stop at Walgreen's and see if they have those 'Sea Bands' for sea sickness... a friend who is 2 weeks ahead of me swears by them....

I am keeping up pretty well with my water which may be helping... I need to get out and walk more! But today the wind chill has us in the single digits so I don't know if I want to brave it. I really should just take a trot at lunch time if the sun stays out.

I better get back to work. Time to get some hot tea. I can't thank you all enough for your help and patience with all my whining :barf3:

Matty deserves some gold stars!!

Is it lunch time yet??? :laugh5:

Thanks for the Hello! :) Your '"we" sounds like mine and Dave's "we" . I end up handing him the tools and telling him if it looks good .... LOL. -Oh yeah, another good thing that goes with peanut butter is honey. Just drizzle a little over the peanut butter and enjoy. It is YUMMY :)! -Hope you have a good day!

Good mornin' mommy (you might as well get used to being called that). I love your division of labor with Matty - really sounds great). Here's something to look forward to - in a while, after the sickies are over - and little Eggie is growing, you'll have a nice little shelf to rest your hands on. I remember from about the six month my pooch was in the perfect place and I used to walk around contemplating my naval for real - wondering who was inside and what she/he'd be like. Such fun!!!;)

I know Pineapple (in any form) has helped many tummies during the early days, too. Don't know why, just know some people swear by it. Also, a supplemental B-6 vitamin can help wonders, too. :)

Don't know an icon for gold stars, but here is a  (on the cheek, of course!) for Matty! You don't have to thank us for anything, girlie... I enjoy hearing it all :heart1:
