GRrrrr... It's Monday and I'd rather be home for some reason. I'm not always this agitated about Monday. Oh well???

On the home front
Yesterday Matty got all the wainscoting up in the baby's room. That was a big step! Now we have to patch and sand and start priming and maybe painting a little. We decided on a paint called Aloe Vera. I it. Matty found it in a picture with a room with a lot of the white wainscoting in the room. It's going to be very bright and springy.

I got 3 loads of laundry done from start to finish while Matt was working upstairs. I still need to do some ironing... MIL and I are going to sort through a big 4 drawer filing cabinet that we want to move downstairs from the baby space tonight. That will make some room. The upstairs is a cape cod so there are a lot of ceiling angles that are fun. The original owners put a lot of built-in storage into the walls so there aren't really any dormer area windows.

Grandsons
Mom and Dad got to keep the grandsons overnight on Saturday. They had a really nice time. Mom is really worried about the little guys because of some of their behavior but you can only help as much as they will let you...

The game
We went over to a coworker of mine last night to watch some of the SuperBowl. It was nice. Yummy foods like chili and mexican cornbread. They live really close and we headed home about 9:30. My pillow has never felt so good as it has lately. My tummy is starting to feel a lot better but I am still so sleepy. It may be a combination of the cold and the winter hibernating instinct and Eggbert sucking the life out of me.

Speaking of cold
There are no schools in session around here... apparently a windchill of 16 below is too cold for the bus stop. Wimps.

Work
I am waiting to hear the final start date from the new job before I quit this job. Ohio is an 'at-will' state so it doesn't matter what kind of notice I end up giving... not that I want to be rude but I want to start at the new job on Feb 16. So if I get the FINAL word on Wed. this week then that means they just get a week and a half instead of 2 weeks. That's fine.

14:00 God bless Katie She is a teacher friend who has today off She picked me up for lunch and we got split pea soup and turkey sammiches. Yumm! Now my tummy is SUPER full. I feel like I might burst.
