How's it at your spot on the map Courtney?? 
We have 4" on the ground and they say this is only the beginning... I am here at work, snug and warm with about 1/3 of the regular staff. Wimps 
They may let us leave early... They are calling 2nd shift off (thank God)... I will prolly go over to my Mom's again to help with the grandbabies... I stayed last night since Matty is away for work stuff. I got to bathe and feed the 3 mo old and then rock him to sleep... He slept all night. The 18 mo old woke at 4am and got a drink and a diaper change and then went back to sleep until 6:15... Those little guys are absolutely pecious and we are all amazed at how well the are adjusting to being at Gramma's. They are staying all week. Without going into detail... my SIL is completely unfit to keep them right now. The 18 mo old is in love with my brother (his Daddy) but they don't ever mind walking away from their Mother.... So SAD... I try not to think about it.... At first I was really concerned that Mom was pushing it by going to get them but they are doing so well here... The 3 mo old already seems to have a brighter look about his eyes and he is the smiliest little angel. I can't believe I would ever say this but I think that if my parents could do it without rocking the boat too much, they would keep the boys indefinitely if it's OK with my brother while he sorts things out... I admit, it sounds crazy when my parents both work and struggle to make ends meet as it is... but they raised 7 kids under the same circumstances and even though they are quirky, we were loved and cared for very well. Our family wasn't long on much but there has never been a shortage of love.....
Mom may look into working at a daycare that she can take the boys to with her during the day. That would be ideal.
So... we are apparently expecting at least twice this much snow by the time it's all over and it hasn't stopped since I got here at 7:45... Oh yeah , and then I shoveled the walk and steps and handicapped ramp since the weather was too bad for the maintenance guy in his 4 WD truck to come in.
At the rate that this storm is moving east Matty will most likely not be getting on his planned flight tomorrow night in NY.... I haven't been home yet and he said that my Valentine's present is on his desk at home!! I hope I still get to go pick him up tomorrow night ... 
I better do a few things before we get to skeedaddle... Feeling better today! Go 2nd trimester!!

So glad the tots are doing so well. God bless your mom and you for taking such good care when their momma isn't able to! Keep doing such wonderful things and for goodness sake have a snow shovel on hand at all times. We only have a couple inches so far and are expecting quite a bit more.

snowing here, too, but we only have 2 or 3 inches on the ground. but I sure am glad I didn't have to go in to school
:y: We're supposed to end up with 12-16 by the time it's over. here's hoping we can shovel out before we have to go to the airport. cuz snow is pretty and all, but Tucson, here I come.

Weeelllll Now! I don't even want to tell ya what the weather is here - you might pelt me with snow balls!. (Its a clouldless blue sky, about 58 degrees currently heading for a high of 64 - due to be 80 degrees by Friday). And I am serious when I say I would trade in a minute - although, I don't want to trade cuz I want to meet you there and pat your little Eggbert/a a couple of times. Be careful; don't trip and give the little nephews an extra nuzzle from Auntie Chris on the West Coast.

Oh, you're getting good practice! 3 months..........that is such an adorable and cuddly age. 18 months.......we're deep into that pahse right now, and nothing in our house is safe or sacred.
:) Anyway, it breaks my heart to hear about their mom, but at least they have an aunt and grandparents who are willing to step up to the plate.
