LOL... I got a call at 5 am yesterday from the boss telling me to put a message on the answering system that we were closing the plant due t o severely inclement weather. Several bordering counties were on level III alerts (which means you can be arrested if you are on the roads for a non-emergency) and we were under a level II (use extreme caution) so they closed the plant. I believe that may be the first time in 30 years. The Ohio State University closed too for the first time since 1993. And that was the first time in many years then... I heard that the University of Illinois closed for the first time since the 1970's... It wasn't so much the 7 or 8" of snow... it was the layers of freezing rain that came between it.

My car has been running out in the parking lot for over an hour so I might go turn it off. I can't get the wipers thawed out. Woo Hoo! I just went out and managed to get the ice scraper lodged under the big sheet of ice on the hood and shove it off the end of the car. It was melted underneath from defrosting for the last 2 hours. Goodness.

Matty was suppposed to fly back from NY with work last night but we pretty much knew that wasn't happening when this weather pattern started. He had a great meeting. He won a big award for his overall site and he was very happy. He worked so very hard on it. They also won the marketing award for the year for their creative signage and ideas... I am so proud of him. ....So he is coming in this afternoon after 3pm. I am leaving work early to pick him up. I'm not really worried about work. lol... tomorrow is my last day here....

It is going to be so strange starting a new job... you never know where you are supposed to be, where to stash your purse, your lunch, your coat.... Where do you go when you get to work? How do they handle breaks? ick. All the 'breaking in' stage.

I spent the last 3 nights and 3 days at my parents house helping with the grandbabies... It was nice but I will be glad to be home. I haven't been home since Matty has!

It was bittersweet having yesterday off... I had a rough day for some reason... I didn't feel well, I was tired and cranky... I took a nap in the afternoon but I still feel queasy this morning... I may sip a cup of coffee or tea here soon. I might need just a little caffiene...

So ready for the weekend and so ready to sleep next to my man

I can't believe we are in wk 11 of being prego! Hopefully not too many more weeks of yucky tummy.. blech.
