The day after....

OK.... I made it to the show just fine. The doors opened at 7:00 and the show started at 8:00. The opening band was ...something.. 'Damns' I think
They were OK. Blue October was great! They put on an incredible live show and their lead singer/guitar is just amazing. The have a lot of strings in their music so watching the string guy pick up an electric violin or mandolin was great. They are truly one of my all time favorite bands. So emotional...My friend who went with... Brent, has spin...

So, tonight is the Blue October concert. I have mixed feelings... First of all, it wasn't planned well. The original planner, a guy who works in our office... suggested that he and Matt and I go. Great idea. This is where my mind must have shut down. How could I go to a Blue October concert without my 16 yr old brother who
the band. So, dilemma #1... Should I offer for Matt and Brent and my brother to go? I didn't think Matt would want to deal with hauling them around and all, so I asked Matt ...

Ha ha... It's strange, but true and I hate to set myself up for a fall by getting too excited about it but I feel pretty close to normal today!
I don't feel nauseous or overheated (that could just be on account of the 10-20 below wind chill forecast today
) But I am feeling pretty good. I got a great night's sleep and I feel rested. It's amazing how much you notice when you feel good after you haven't felt good for so long. I am just blessed to be an incredibly healthy person most of the t...

Picture is my face in my portrait from the Flying Pig in May... Matty had my finish line picture painted for my B-Day in December....GRrrrr... It's Monday and I'd rather be home for some reason. I'm not always this agitated about Monday. Oh well???
On the home front
Yesterday Matty got all the wainscoting up in the baby's room. That was a big step! Now we have to patch and sand and start priming and maybe painting a little. We decided on a paint called Aloe Vera. I

In honor of Peanut....
*Baby Help*
Nancy's nephew was 4 when she was pregnant with her first kid. She allowed him to place his hand on her belly and feel the baby kick.
His little face scrunched and said, "How does the baby get out of there?"
She wanted to keep it simple so she said, "The doctor will help."
His eyes widened in amazement as he exclaimed, "You've got a doctor in there, too?"
