View BECKAMARIE's food & exercise for this day
Wow, do I have original titles or what ?!

Talk about sleepy yesterday... I stopped at the grocery on my way home and gathered up groceries for dinners this week and then I scooted home for steaks and salad and baked potatoes. Yummy! Matty grilled the steaks. He has the magic touch with his marinades and grilling technique. Plus it goes so much faster when I just have to saute some 'shrooms and throw a salad together and nuke the taters.
At work I could barely stay awake after 3:00 so after the grocery and dinner I climbed the stairs to bed no washed face, no brushed teeth, in my work clothes... fell into bed and was out by 8:00. I feel much better today. That was kind of awesome being able to get to sleep early.
I really like the new job. The hours are great for me... In at 7:30, out at 4:15 so I miss all the downtown traffic. We get out early on Fridays so I leave at 3:00 then. There is so much work to do there is never a dull moment. I work in the document management department of a very large insurance company and that basically means that we type alot from dictated documents from underwriters and claims agents. It is very interesting and I like all the new things I am learning. I work with mostly women my Mom's age and they are all unique and very supportive in their own ways. I like them.
Getting home earlier means that I have been able to cook dinners more nights of the week and is really helping with the restaurant tabs... I know that having children slows you down in that area too and keeps you home more although Matt says that he'll believe that something could keep me home more when he sees it.
Getting more excited about the wee one ( to steal a phrase from Tori

) every day and although we are both hoping for a boy I have a sneaking suspicion it is a girl.

I don't know anything about little girls having all brothers and nephews so I am a little scared... lol. Of course either way we will be absolutely in love the moment we can hold them.
I went to a baby shower for a friend last Saturday. It was crazy. So many wonderful things! It will be fun to have showers in a few months. She is ready to pop. She is all belly, whereas I will be more like an innertube.
I better run... so much to do, so little time! Hugs, Becka

Just love seeing your blogging again! I'm with Tori though - how about a preggers pic? My wee one was a 10 pounder so I know all about both inner tubes and bellies!

I don't have a feeling for what you are having. I swore both my boys were girls so I don't think my opinion would be helpful to you my friend! But I
 you and
 that you are blogging again.

I thought for sure we were having a boy (in my waking thoughts), but the dreams I had were all "Congrats, it's a girl!" I was amazed how in-tune my subconscious was with my body. As my BIL told us: "No matter what you think you want (boy or girl) you'll get just what you need." So wise. Have a great day!

You and Matty
 were in my dreams Sunday night. We were sitting at a round table chatting at some family BBQ-type setting. Your wee one was a boy. It made me smile when I woke up. Glad to see your smiling face, although I'd love to see a belly pic.
