Good Thursday Morning!! I got the house cleaned last night. Yippee!! MIL gets home this afternoon from her trip to MO. with her sister and a couple friends. I hope she had fun and relaxed and didn’t worry about everything falling apart while she was gone. The little worry wart.

I went to bed about 10:00 and it was all I could to drag my rear (and literally, I mean DRAG) out of bed at 5:15… Matty and I are on a routine of a poached egg and toast every morning. So I whipped those up and ate with Matty then picked up a few more things and followed myself around wiping up water drips and picking up dropped socks.

Rain, rain and more rain is in store… Better than snow right now. We are still holding in the mid sixties for highs the rest of this week. Please don’t let it freeze again this year, God. Things are really popping and we could lose a lot of flower buds on those early bloomers.

I cut a handful of daffodils and brought them to work in a vase yesterday for my desk. They look so nice. I spring. It used to be my favorite season but it seems so short lately so I am changing my allegiances to fall now. I think I loved it so much when I worked outside everyday because I was out in the weather every day. You got to capture every nice moment of sunshine and every flash of warmth and you didn’t miss a single, popping leaf and flower. Now it goes too fast since I only catch glimpses out the car window and in my quick walk around the yard on the nicest evenings…

I went to pick up a mall gift card for a retiring co-worker last night. I forgot how great that store ‘The Great Indoors’ is. I haven’t been in there forever. I meant to tell Matty and I forgot that when we are done with our room we should go there to look for lamps and other decorative things. They have a lot of natural looking accent pieces and several of those benches we want to get for the foot of the bed. Their selection of lamps and other things is great.

I have intro. To preggo yoga tonight!! I am very excited. My friend Emily got me a mat and a carry bag for my birthday and I haven’t used it yet. A new bright pink mat for my new class.

I better get to work. Much to do today and a retirement lunch today for someone I have been working around for an entire 38 days. One of the other co-workers warned me that go around the table and make speeches and if I don’t, they will wait for me to make something up. Oh great.
