Good Morning!! I had a voice mail from a dear friend I met on CK last night. Although she had sad news to share, it was nice to hear from her and reminded me that I really need to get back into blogging…

I don’t even know where to start… Matty and I are doing well. We have been busy little bees as always when the sun decides to come out. In Ohio you have to jump on it because the darn growing season is so short.

Last night we finished up mulching the rest of the beds in the backyard and then planted the veggie garden by flashlight. We watered it in and headed into the house about 10:00 p.m. But, it’s done!! And hopefully the rain will come as predicted this weekend (of course, it’s a holiday weekend)

I have 15 weeks to go! I have to confess that being pregnant is not nearly as fun as I had thought it would be. All you momma’s are nodding your heads thinking, Duh! I love feeling him jump and kick but all this weight is awful and all the stretching pains and the difficulty moving around is not convenient. I have to sit down to put my shoes and socks on.

Matty has been awesome as usual. He keeps me movin' in the yard and lets me help as much as I want but he also doesn't say a single thing when I decide to pull out the lawn chair and watch him work... His seasonal allergies are killing him right now, poor guy. I am so excited to see him with his new son in the fall. I will be 2 weeks from my due date on our second weddiing anniversary in August, ha ha.

Everything looked great at the 20 week ultrasound. We are thrilled to be having a boy! We have decided to name him Matthew Blaine. I’m pretty happy about that. It’s not Matthew Jr. or anything but I love the name Matthew and Blaine is a family name on both sides so that was an easy choice. I really like naming children after family, I think it’s a wonderful honor.

I gained quite a bit of weight the first several months and then last month I decided to buckle down and at the last Doctor check up I hadn’t gained any weight in the past month. The Doctor and I were pleased with that! Not that weight gain isn't inevitable but one month of leveling off isn’t going to hurt anything when I’ve gained plenty already.

I am taking pre-natal yoga and loving that! It wears me out but I feel so much better a couple days after class. They are some really nice gals and all very supportive.
