Dear You,
This is a quickie… I have had morning duty at the main reception desk here at work this last week and don’t really get to my own desk till 10:00 so it’s been hard to get a blog in before the rest of my day explodes… But today I will post one late just because I miss you.

This has been a nice week. Not too much going on. I have been sleeping more than ever and it feel so good. You know how sometimes you sleep late and it feels like you got too much sleep? I haven’t felt like that at all. I feel just about right and I have been stealing nearly 8 hours every night. Poor Matty, he is so patient with me. My latest comfort have been his soft and worn XXL t-shirt drawer. I raid it daily, sometimes twice and he never says a word. Gosh I love that man…

I got into the garden last night in my bare feet. Ahhhh. It was the perfect time of day. Still steamy hot but shaded so not miserable. I got the beans and the vining plants cleared of pesky weeds but I have to get to the tomatoes tonight. They aren’t as weedy because they are so BIG!! They keep the sunlight down so the weeds aren’t as aggressive there. OMG they look great. Matty planted them with his ‘secret’ fertilizer blend and I think that was the trick. Of course it could have been that we planted them at 10:00 p.m. by flashlight. LOL. I wonder if it was a new moon that night? Isn’t that the old garden lore?

It is looking like a nice weekend shaping up. Well, aside from the lack of rain… Tomorrow Matty and I both work in the morning, then he golfs in the late afternoon and I may take my16 yr old brother to a festival downtown that my friend is dancing in. Sunday we have a few tasks to take care of then maybe golf with a dear friend who just returned from a trip to San Diego (which is like another country away from central Ohio). Of course, I just putz around and drive the cart but they let me come along anyway.

I am so glad that it is Friday… Oh! And the doctor appt last Friday went fine. I am a little low on iron ( I always am, sometimes too low to donate to the Red Cross ) So I need to begin an extra iron supplement. And I am measuring a week under, which I could have predicted. I have been pretty sure they were a week off from the beginning… I mean, I’m pretty sure I know when we conceived… LOL. So, it looks like my due date should be closer to Sep 15th, but I was my mom’s first and I was a week early so hopefully the little guy won’t hunker down for a good long stay and go over too far. Then again, I suppose he can do whatever he feels necessary. We do have lots to do to get ready for him!

July is shaping up to be busy… The weekend before July 4th we are going up to Geneva, Ohio (HI MONICA!!!) then the 15th we are throwing a surprise B-Day party for the MIL, then the 22nd is an out of town family reunion, then the 28th is my first of two baby showers!! How cool is that going to be!!?? Baby stuff galore!! I can’t wait!

I guess that besides the heat, it is great to be preggo in the summer because the months are so busy and go by so fast. Of course, another downside is that you can’t cover up enough with clothing because it is so warm. I was just thinking this morning that thank goodness when I start to run again I have a 7 or 8 month jump on summer clothes! Now, that’s good timing!
