5 weeks to go! My GF April, who was due ten days before me had her baby 3 weeks early last night. That was a wake up call!I can't wait to see her after work and the beautiful new arrival, Madison Elizabeth.

After buckling down this weekend I went to my Doctor appt. hoping to look better. She said she had never seen such a dramatic change in 3 days! She was worried Friday that I was going to have pre-eclampsia and a bunch of other awful thigs that I don't even know how to say... I knew it was mostly due to a bad week of eating holiday foods.I just wish I wasn't always so careless...
So I feel better, she feels better, I dropped 4 pounds (of water retention, I'm sure) and dropped 40 points...

I went to the Doctor this afternoon and I got in big trouble. I had gained 30 pounds the first 5 months... which is on the high end but not so bad... so month 6 I decided to reel it in and did not gain an ounce. I was so happy that I did so good!Today I went and I was up 13 pounds in 3 weeks. Um, not so good. I am thinking it was a weekend of eating out and eating everything in sight! We left for Geneva (Ohio, that is) after work on Friday. We stopped for dinner at a greasy spoon and stayed overnight halfway up. The restaurant was fun and quiet. Our waitress was the sweetest thing but she took forever getting back to the table all through the meal and when she was there, she talked and talked and talked.
