I didn’t take the time last week to say Happy 40th Birthday to my wonderful soul mate last week!! Matt turned 40 on November 1st and we didn’t do too much that day except sneak down the street for a quick bite with a friend.

Last night 20 friends or so met up with us at Outback and we had dinner to celebrate. It was so nice to have all those friends show up. Matt really deserved a whole lot more of course but with everything going on that’s all Mommy and Matthew B could muster.

Matty B was so good at the party and got passed around like a hot potato. His girlfriend Maddy (Madison Elizabeth) was there. She is 12 days older than him and they laid next to each other on the booth seat and chatted and hit each other and tried to suck on the other baby’s hand. Maddy’s mommy April, said she could just watch them interact all day long. It was pretty funny. I hope they are good friends as they get older. That would be nice. Matty’s 2 cousins will be here for Thanksgiving and I am hoping that is a fun time. They are 1 and 2 yr old boys.

I am doing well on calorie intakes but haven’t been on the scale this weekend. I need to fine tune the quality of what I am eating instead of knowing that I can eat a chicken finger or two for dinner… (mainly because I haven’t eaten anything else all day and it’s easy to eat holding Matty) and start trying to focus on eating healthier foods more frequently through the day. Because of all the craziness I have been extra sure to take my vitamins each day.

I hate Mondays… getting back into the routine of taking the baby boy in the car so early every morning. Dragging him out of his warm bed. I don’t suppose working (outside the home) Mommies ever get used to it.

I know this is short but I better get a move on it. Between working and getting all my pumping in I don’t know which way is up half the time.
