Happy Hump Day C!!!
Starting day 6 with no crashes!

Yesterday I was really hungry and I was really worried about that. So I went ahead and put a serving of chow mien noodles on top of the chicken stir fry that Matt so lovingly made for dinner.

I thought that would put me over 130 calories but that maybe I needed just a few more
(milk making issues

) Then I got on-line this morning and I realized that I had logged a serving of cheddar cheese because I had tentatively planned on a grilled chicken salad so voila, I was only over by like 30 calories!
I woke up hungry but not starving so I think that dinner was enough to get me going again from yesterday. Normally hunger wouldnt scare me but with this whole breast feeding issue, I try to be smart about it.
The baby slept so great last night. He went to bed at 7:00, was up at 12:45 a.m. to eat and then up at 4:45 a.m. Which is pretty much his normal time to get up. Matt and I were already up getting ready for the day so he got to play in the living room for almost an hour. He plays by himself really well, we are so lucky. Not that he doesnt have enough to occupy himself with
we have to get him a new toy every weekend

He went right back to sleep on the way to Grannys for the day and I tucked him into his crib at Grannys and headed off to work.
He is finally over his sheer horror of the car seat. I was so worried it would last longer. I think he started to relax in it at about 5 months. Up until that point, he would cry the entire time he was in there. Now I think he actually likes it most of the time, but he does have his time limits
Im glad that I am recording some of his life here since his baby book is sorely behind.
Matt got a few things for his Easter basket, including a bunny rabbit from Starbucks. It is super cute. MIL got him a Longaberger basket from this years Easter collection. She is an avid basket collector. I have gone to the Homestead with her several times and it is a great trip.
I weighed exactly the same as three days ago but its okay. At least I have not gained. I stopped at Starbucks for a non-fat latte to cheer me up. The fact that it has been raining for almost 48 hours is not that great either.
Okay, enough nonsense
One more day closer to Friday!
13:39

I found this great play yard and ordered it mostly for my Mom's use at her house. I really wanted one and this one looks great and had great reviews! I am so excited, this will be perfect! I ordered 2 side extensions too, most of the reviews recommended that you get a couple extensions to start with. http://www.onestepahead.com/catalog/product.jsp?productId=6193&parentCategoryId=85185&categoryId=85224
PS. I had to take my mentor student to lunch today and she begs for McDonald's. I had one of those grilled chicken snack wraps and although it was a few calories, it was really good and filling. Especially for one of those days when I really needed more than a salad.

PPS. The aforementioned lactating issue seems to be better...

I think listening to my body and eating a little more of Matt's healthy stir fry was a good idea. It's so empowering to be at a place where you can listen to your body and make healthy choices and not fall apart.
Climbed 290 stairs today

That's funny about the car seat. Daniel doesn't mind his at all - in fact, he will even sit in it in the kitchen and take a nap. Target sells this cute set of toys that attaches to the car seat on a stretchy band -- there are two spin toys and a frog that plays music. Daniel loves those. And I haven't started the baby book at all yet.

Lord, my friend's little one just freaked when he graduated to the sitting up kind of car seat. I suppose I can't blame them not wanting to be strapped in like that.

Dont you wonder what is going through their minds? Why would he be scared of a car seat? Or maybe its just that momma or daddy aren't holding him?
