Me and Matty

Man, I was so close to calling in today. MIL is still out of town and the house needs straightened up and Matty didn't sleep well at al yesterday or last night and I just wanted to cuddle down and let him cuddle down and not have to go anywhere today. But he will be fine. He sleeps good at Granny's in his crib there and I don't need to waste a day off.

My brother’s fiancé’s wedding shower was yesterday and it was really nice. They got a lot of little things and some of the girls were so creative with their gifts. They are starting with nothing, she has always lived at home and Jeremy lived on his own but never really ‘set up house’ so to speak. Matt and I got them their teapot for the shower but we are going to get them their blender and something else I think.

It has been a whirlwind weekend as usual and I was sad to see it over.

I am ready to go home, make something nice for dinner and cuddle down already.

Maybe the sun with come out today.


We are getting some serious pressure here at work to get more done so I'm gonna be quick this morning. I'll try to check back in.

No gain, no loss this weekend so that's a good thing.
