Happy dance!! I am now down to 168.5 which means a 15.5 pound loss in 59 days!! I was so excited when I got off the scale this morning. I wasn’t going to weigh in but Matt did so I decided to be brave and go for it. What a great surprise! Yippee! And I'd just like to say that since we started our weight loss project I have lost within 5 pounds of my hubby so far and even though he has been able to eat more of what he wants with some restraint and I have been quite a bit more controlling, I am pretty darn proud of that.

I also wore my pedometer all day yesterday and got 11,600 steps in. I took a brisk walk at lunch and mowed the lawn, with some help from Matt.

I got in plenty of water and I felt pretty good yesterday. So I think it is highly probable that I could lose 3.5 pounds before Memorial Day and be at 165. We will see!

We bought the cutest little sun hat for Matty B at Target on Sunday to wear to the tournament. I promise I will try to get a picture up!!

I am so motivated to stick to this even more with all the upcoming summer events… I love summer and we have lots of friends who love to entertain so I want to feel confident and beautiful. And it's so much easier to eat at friends when the grill is out. Just sneak your own portabella mushroom burger on the grill and load up on the veggies and voila!... No one cares.

We are hoping that the flats of bedding flowers that Matt ordered come in today. It may be the only day without rain this week so we need to get them planted. Because then it’s on to the veggie garden… I am hoping to get home early, sneak in a run and then get home and start in on the containers that we gathered up so many wonderful things for last weekend.
