New picture of my darling boy.... :love:

...Holding steady just under 160 now for a few weeks... No gain but only a half pound fluctuating loss. I knew my system would have to get used to these long runs once we got into them. I try to eat extra on the days when I run 5 miles or more but I just get so busy that I can never eat enough. I didn't even get my minimum calories in yesterday- never mind eating back any exercise calories. I actually have a goal this week of remembering to eat all my calories! When was the last time I could say that?? One of the lesser known blessings of having children I think is being too busy to eat.

I think that instead of trying to eat too much on the actual day that I run I will shoot to eat all my daily calories all week leading up to the run and then I won't be so ravenous the day after a long run because I'm not getting enough on the actual day that I run just because I can't eat that much. (wow, was that wordy... :cross2: )

Granted, this is a holiday weekend but I still have found that if I don't eat any sweets it's pretty hard to blow your entire day on picnic food with all the grilled stuff and fruits and veggies... So NO sweets! :) :nono2:

Crazy week alert! We have at least one social event every day or evening on Thursday, Friday and Saturday and a 14 mile run on Sat. morning. Oh boy... :drunk:

He's darling B. I don't know how you can stand to be away from him running and when you are at work. I know it's tough. I would want to snuggle him 24/7. I know you do too. Keep up the great work! :queen:
