I'm trying to get back into the groove of blogging mostly due to the request of my most faithful reader who shall remain anonymous.
I am so excited about joining an all women's gym recently! It really never mattered to me before but now that I am in my 30s I am over the female cattiness issue - well mostly. lol... No really- it is so great to run up there (it's only a mile!!) and go through the nautilus and say hi to all the other Mommies of little ones just trying to squeeze it in... No pressure- no flashing lights - no dark corners. Everything is bright and clean and pleasant. I took a spinning class on Sunday that was awesome. I am feeling so good getting back into a ritual without it taking over my life.
I am back down to within 3 pounds of realistic goal and 8 pounds of dream goal so that is exciting. I think this new apptoach to my fitness (instead of just cardio) will help tip me that last 8 pounds. Then I will be ready for summer! Like that will ever come to Ohio...
Work is good. Crazy but good. Seriously there is never a dull moment. The first couple of weeks that I truly took over for my former supervisor I stayed late a few times but it seems to be back under control now.
Matty is the cutest thing ever. At 18 mo he is a bundle of giggles one moment and screams the next. He went to Granny's this morning just like every morning except today he was blowing on a grunt call for calling in whitetail bucks... He was laughing and grunting and cracking me up. He is going to be such a lover boy too, like his daddy. He loves to give kisses and cuddle.
