Well, due to peer pressure, and the need to have a goal to work towards- I registered for a half marathon on May 1. It's a great track and it's only 13.1 miles and I need something to motivate me to start going again. I always do better when I am afraid of a race date. I have only shown up unprepared for one race in my life, and that was partly due to just not really understanding what I was getting into.
Lisa also wants to start meeting me on my turf and running with me on Friday afternoons (my day off) and that is REALLY exciting. I know she is doing it mostly for my benefit and I really do appreciate that.
I might be back - Lots to do here at work... I was down 1.5 pounds this morning but that was awfully fast so I am not officially counting it unless it holds through the week. Here's hoping that it does!!
