Oops. I got on the scale this morning and I gained 3 pounds since my Dr. appt on the 21st.
Not the end of the world, (I am holding a lot more water these last few days) But this last week I havent been as good as I could. I need to go to the grocery for starters. Boy am I glad this was a short week. I am squeezing in some OT this Sat morning but it wont be like coming to work on a regular day I can wear something comfy and leave at noon.
I got a little journal to start writing to the baby in. I should have started months ago but I think I can go back through blogs and fill in some gaps. I just want to let him know how much he is anticipated by all his family and friends, and how much we love him already. Someday he might like to read it ...

I have to say that being pregnant is an amazing anomaly within the calorie intake concept. I can eat double the calories in regular weight loss and maintain my weight at a good rate. The trick is to stay away from the junk. Take, for instance the McDonalds cheeseburger I ate on my way home from yoga at 9:30 last night.

What a nice weekend .
Friday night we joined 3 other couples and grilled out. They were all very nice and super funny and we had a great time visiting and sharing experiences All the guys are in the landscape industry and most of the gals are Nurse Practitioners so there was plenty of interesting conversation. The host couple have a 3 year old son and a 7 month old daughter and they were cute as could be.
