I truly must be the slowest individual on the planet.
It's only taken me a couple of years to be completely honest and admit that the mornings I don't exercise there is a 99% chance that I am going to blow the day in every possible way... I am sluggish, tired, crave sugar and low quality carbs, drink too much coffee....
So today I dragged myself out of bed at 4:45am, ran 5.5 miles (in 50 minutes!!

) and have drank 64 oz of water, feel great and satisfied at 2:30 pm and I have dinner ...

REALLY BAD WEEKEND!! Not even going to 'go there'. So here we are, new week, renewed commitment, great weather!! Yahoo!!
It will be okay. This weekend I looked back at fall 2005 food diaries when I finally got all of winter 2004 weight off to see how I did it and hmmmm....
Less calories for sure. I know some of you can lose at 1400 net but not me. It does surprise me that even with my decent workout habits and size my metabolism must not be that fast. I really need to get one of those ...

Um.. so yesterday didn't go too well... Yes, I did say to myself, start cramming, this is your last chance, and yes, I did start stuffing my face, which led to an entire conversation in my head this morning about stopping at Starbucks and trying that new banana choc chip cake,,, etc etc.
Then I got on the scale.
I thought, LISTEN, the day is just starting, you still have a chance here, you actually did get up and run 3.5 miles, did 100 crunches and 60 walking lunges...and guzzled 32 ...

Today is OK. Didn't go crazy but went over net (CK's) yesterday and will today if all goes to plan.
No, the cookies I logged and the banana nut bread weren't necessary but I consumed them in moderation and had complete control (almost 'lost it'

) over stopping so that is
very good.
I am hoping to get home with enough energy to run 5 miles tonight. I have run this morning and done all my usual routine but if I get that extra run in just before check-in tomorrow that would make me f...

Good Wednesday Morning!!
3.5 miles ran, 60 walking lunges (up and down the driveway) 100 crunches IN! 32 oz of H2O down the hatch and here I am at my desk.
Great start to a great week. One medium size indiscretion on Tues night but we will get over that. Moving on and moving up!
Break that damn plateau (not really a plateau, more like a yo-yo) And get into that closet full of cute clothes by August. Our first wedding anniversary is Aug 20th. That is my next immediate goal.
