I know it can seem trivial but I'm sure some of you will join me in the victory of 2 whole days with NO sugar!! I know they say you have to have a little or you'll splurge but with me, having a little becomes a splurge every time.

I know that 1 piece of chocolate (homemade :)) bundt cake that a co-worker baked for an expectant Momma's last day wouldn't kill me (within my calories) BUT I would not settle for just 1 piece. So my treat to myself is lunch 'date' with my best girl and a latte at ...

So, um it's raining cats and dogs today.... ALL day.
One of my little games to get me out of bed and running plenty early is to beat the bad weather. It seems here in Ohio that we have our share of incliment weather, especially in the spring. (at least I think we have made it to spring....)

It seems that whenever we have rain or snow coming in the morning it rarely finds us before 5 am. So if I bust it out at 4:30, I can still get a good 5 miles in before the wet stuff starts. True to for...

I avoided the scale quite successfully over the last several weeks. I also justified eating like a fool because of my marathon training schedule. I also missed my March 25th goal by ...Oh... the better part of 10
POUNDS!!!

I told the darling husband he's 'on duty' again last night. He knows what that means. He now has permission to ask if I'm sure that I want to eat something I'm about to put into my mouth. He's very good at it. He gently asks if I'm sure I want that, and only asks once....

Remember those hershey kisses on my desk..... um yeah well, not such a good idea. I did great until about 2 or 3pm (seems to be my CRAZY hunger time) So instead of wisely chugging my protein shake dinner, I tossed a 'few' kisses in my hand, and then that was the end of that.... Then I went to say Happy B-Day to my Momma and she had pot roast and potatos in the crock pot. So that pretty much sums it up.

Of course, I rationalize it all by looking at my mileage this week. I put in 38 miles. Wh...
