Today is good. Went to bed early and the hubby's internal clock woke him up at 1am. On came the TV. :)
We had a nice lazy, napping/chatting time till around 4:30am. Then it's the start of a new day! I didn't run today. I'm sure I could have but the knee was pretty stiff after 14 miles yesterday and sometimes I think I push a little hard for being a novice. So today will be my only day of rest this week.
Tonight I am going to a jewelry party with the Momma. I am really looking forward to it.

OK, One good thing, I didn't drink anything but Diet Coke at Mark's party. Second good thing, I ran 14 miles this morning in 135 minutes!! One really bad thing, I ate WAY TOO MUCH chocolate at Mark's party.
Which leads to a new revelation... I read that refined sugar isn't good for painful joints, which might explain the correlation between eating too much choc at Mark's party and my knees hurting more today.
Hmmm. Starting today NO MORE sugar. No more cake, sweets or chocolates. If I wants ...

Not feeling too great this morning. Those 2x a day runs really wear me out. I ran 3 miles every morning this week and another 5.5 miles Wednesday and Thursday after work. It took all I had to get up and do my 3 this am. I would still try to run home tonight if I didn't have to be somewhere after work. Not really something I want to do eith but I'm always saying yes to things I don't want to do. My Mom-in-law (God bless her) wants me to go to the neighbor girl's art show at school. Wow. I did so great yesterday and we even made it the grocery after dinner and I didn't go crazy.
B made an apple pie (YUMMY) the other day and I thought I hadn't given it much thought.... I NEVER get up at night and eat but for some crazy reason I found myself eating a piece of that pie at midnight last night! Can't make a habit of that!
I am starting my 'cycle' today and I ran 8.5 miles yesterday so maybe I just needed some sugar. Well, glad that's out of my system. I am a hungry monster w...

Good AM!!
I ran this morning and packed stuff to run home. I'm so glad it is going to be sunny and 45 this afternoon! :)
I felt like a treat last night so I stopped at Panera for a 1/2 sandwich and soup to pack for lunch today since I was going to run allot. Of course it was pretty late and they were out of my 'planned' soup. Veggie(90 cal). I have been really wanting to splurge on the new tomato and roasted garlic so I got that instead.
