Well, you would never....never guess what happend....!!! Some times I think I am taking care of 4 children when I only gave birth to 3. The extra child, of corse is my husband. So here is the story....

8 months back we got a new car. One that would fit the new bundel of joy we had been expecting. Well it was to be his work car, to and from. I gave him the insurance information to make the call and get the new car added to the policy. Well as it go's he didn't do it in a timly fashion and he got pulled over without insurance. I pushed and pushed for him to call but he didn't and got himself in a heap of $h!^. So he went to court, payed his fine and showed proof of insurance. So all is hunky dory until tuesday night of last week.

He got pulled over for speeding in his new company truck (he got pulled over for speeding last time and got nabed for the insurance deal!) So I get this phone call at 12:00AM and its him. He said he got pulled over and apparently his license is suspended and he is getting "taken in". "taken in" is a nice way of saying BOOKED, ARRESTED, PUT IN THE SLAMMER! So the problem is he is sitting in the back of a squad and has NO reason why his license is suspended. At this point he tells me that I need 2 people to come to the site and pick up the car and one to drive him home. Backing up a bit....2 weeks ago his cell phone was stolen from his open truck (My purse was stolen from my open car 2 years ago, THINK HE WOULD LOCK THINGS UP AFTER THAT!...Damn neighbor kid!) SO, I have 3 sleeping children and my hands are tied. I call my older brother and his wife, he is on his way before even getting off the phone with me. I call the number back that my husband gave me, witch happens to be the sargents personal cell phone. Natrualy the sargent answers the phone and asks me how long it will take for my brother to get there. I say about 30-35 mins and he studders..."well....well...I can't wait that long...I have to impound the truck and take Brandon in....would that be O.K." I paused for a good 15 sec....Thinking in my head..."would that be ok...what are you asking for permision to arrest my husband?" He must have thought I didn't hear him because he repeted it. So after the second time of him asking my permision I said..."NO thats not OK! Why would it be O.K. I have someone coming NOW!" I understand that he had to take my husband in no matter because of his un-known offence but DON'T impound the company car! Could you imagion him explaining that to his boss. He would for sure loose his job if that happed. So anyhow he repeted himself again..."Well...I have the tow on the way, I can't wait and I need to take him in...Is that OK?" This time I had had it. I figure, My hubby is going in and the truck is getting towed so I Very sternly said "NO ITS NOT O.K." and I hung up on him! After I did it I knew it was not a good move but on the other hand I am SICK to death of getting walked on by the law. My husband and I are for the most part very good people. We don't drink and drive, do drugs, even speed (well I don't.....very often). So to make a long story longer....My brother and his wife show up at the site and the cop is still sitting there waiting on the tow (it showed up just second after they pulled up). They ended up paying the tow charge even though it was never hooked up and then went with my husband to the jail where he was processed. 200$ later in tow and bond charges my husband makes it home at 4:00 AM.

He found out during the booking process that he was being charged with driving on a suspended license that came about because he didn't get an SR22 insurance policy after the first speeding and insurance ticket! He tells me that he does not recall anyone telling him that he needed it. I find that hard to beleive. He went to court, got supervision on the tickets and they just didnt tell him that he needed this....what do I have to go to court with him to make sure he does not miss anything???? So now I have to drive his @ss to work every day an hour away from home and back with 3 kids in the car until this is cleared up. On the upside his Mother and Father live close so they have been picking him up and dropping him off. But he has been staying at there house just about every night sence. Even though I'm pissed at him, he still need to be home for the kids and I admit....me. So all this and now even If I get the job...How am I going to cart him around to keep his job?.....Time to call our attourny and make sure he gets supervision on this one....or he will be 6 months without a license. NOTHING LIKE ADDING MORE STRESS TO OUR LIVES!

The whole point of this way to long story is please handle things before they get out of control...it always costs more later! This all could have been avoided with a simple phone call when he first got the car! Sigh

One a lighter note...no pun intended. I stoped in at an old place of employment to visit a friend who has not seen the new me. ( I was in the area DROPPING MY HUSBAND OFF AT WORK) I walked in the door and he didn't even recognise me! After a few moments he let out his usual "OMG how are you". Needless to say he is happy with what he saw! Night all!
