So I want to thank you all for your support on the quiting smoking. Its real important to me to acctualy stop. I do have to say I have been doing fairly well although I think that in that statemnt I am lieing to myself. About doing well that is. I have had about 3 today....to my normal 8-10. But I almost feel like a failure because I am not going cold turkey. Is it better to cold cut turkey or slow cook turkey?Monday, August 13th 2007
I'm BAAAACK. I did real well today, other than not working out. But I am not upset because I am still not feeling 100%. I had a real ruff night sleep lastnight and I'm sure that is not helping my recovery. I felt like I could not breath all night and would wake up in coughing fits. Not real good. On a good note I may be able to use this cold to aid in my quiting smoking. I'm down to about 3 a day at this point mostly because I just can't do it without feeling like dieing. So I think I finnaly get it. The trying weight loss and keep off life struggel. My husband was on vacation this week and I am so happy that he is back to work. Not that I did not enjoy him being home, but he is truly a recking ball to my healther eating life style. This is a man who can eat anything he could dream of and still maintain or even loose weight. So I have .20 lbs before I can truly say I have lost 50 lbs. Please notice where the decmial point is... yes .20 of a lb. I am just as happy but it would be nice to dip below and stay there. I have seen 51lbs and even 52 lbs but I cant say it was anything but water weight!Wednesday, August 1st 2007
Back to working out and eating well. I took about a week off of the strict calroie diet and have come to a great realisation...I can maintain. I know its only a week, but its nice to know that I can have a few items of goodness guilt free and know that I am not going to total balloon out again. I also saw that in a normal day I eat about 2000 calories on average and that seems to be a good maintain calorie amount for me. I still have about 10 lbs to go so I am going to kick my butt to get...
