Hm... LOTS of bad decisions today. It's funny that the macronutrient ratios don't reflect how "bad" the choices were. I suppose if the macronutrients split simple, complex and fibrous carbs up and differentiated between saturated and unsaturated fats, it would be a different story.

This stupid flu finally seems to be breaking up, but I still don't have much of an appetite. I ate most of an apple for breakfast, followed by a frozen fruit bar that my son decided not to eat, and two snack paks while I watched him play on the playground. Later, my wife wanted to do our "drive" out to Julian (little town on the outskirts of San Diego) to get some apple pie. I bought a whole pie (which I didn't touch), two cinnamon rolls and two cups of milk.

The three of us ate our way through the first cinnamon roll and part of a second. I am probably overestimating when I say I had half. I didn't even drink the whole cup of milk - my son had most of that.

The only semi-good thing I ate today (apart from the apple) was the arroz con pollo. If I had knocked the cheese off, it would have been a fantastic dish (broiled chicken, rice and black beans).

Since I have to work tomorrow, I'm going to do my best to get back on schedule.

Here is my tentative menu for tomorrow:
Soy+Flax PBJ + milk
Orange + 1 cup cottage cheese
Soup + Tuna + small baked potato
Pear + 1 cup cottage cheese
Dinner ??

I'm still coughing like a friggin tuberculosis patient, but I really do feel much better. I finished my round of antibiotics, and I -think- my fever is gone, so maybe some cardio will help clear my lungs out.

Agh... my gut is telling me to give it a few more days before I try the gym again, though.
