There we go! I've lost 4 lbs over the last 2 weeks. Nice to see things moving in the right direction. All I had to do was make that one small accounting change (Polar calories burned).

My targets for the week look like this

Sat 2500 cal, cardio + weight training (abs)
Sun 2500 cal, cardio
Mon 1850 cal off
Tue 1850 cal, cardio
Wed 1850 cal, cardio + weight training (lower body)
Thu 1850 cal, cardio
Fri 1850 cal, cardio + weight training (upper body)

Mmmm... Cheat Meal
I technically had my cheat food on Friday... I guess I had it again today. After my wife got off work at the veterinary hospital, we headed to the Elephant Bar for lunch. My meal was perfectly on plan. I had a fantastic lean tri-tip meal with whipped potatoes and steamed veggies. What came after, however...

I followed that healthy meal with some insane cookie and ice cream concoction. It was gigantic... and amazingly enough, I got about 1/4 of the way into it before feeling like I was going to hurl. It was as if my body said, "WHOA!! THIS AIN'T FRUIT!" (Yes, my inner voice says "ain't"... It's my inner redneck ;) )

Anyway, After that 1000 calorie meal, I'm enjoying a nice high calorie buzz ... and now I'm off to enjoy a Saturday afternoon nap. I've got a lot of work to do this weekend for school and I'll be starting as soon as we get up... so I'm having my self-indulgent time now.

I hope to work in a good round of cardio and abs later... Should have plenty of fuel to do it!

Ahhh... Recharged
We had a great family nap and just got back from a power walk. My 2 (almost 3) year old has a tiny bicycle and he just wears himself out riding. It's FANTASTIC! So now we're home and I'm unwinding before I start on my school work. I wish I could take a nap every day *laugh*
