This is an email to my former trainer Rebecca. I'm very excited at the prospect of working with her again. (It has been 5 years.)

Hi Rebecca,

Here is what I'm thinking:
My goal is to lean out. I want to be cut by the time I graduate in December/January.

I have the knowledge to do this myself (thanks to you and a few good books), but... I'm seeking your help for four specific reasons: 1) To give me a couple of exercise sets that I can do in my present condition 2) To check my form and remind me of what it feels like to "do it right", 3) The magic of accountability to help me stick to it through the difficult first few months, 4) You know what you're doing, and you know me... You'll see the things that I won't.

I mentioned 4 sessions, but I'd like to see if I can afford 8. That way I can work with you once a week for 2 months.

My plan is to work on my own for the next two weeks to get through the break-in period. (I don't want to waste our time together dealing with completely untrained muscle.)

Give me a call at work tomorrow (Tuesday) when you get a chance, and let me know what you think.
