The worst words ever spoken: I'm taking a break from my diet during vacation. *laugh*

Rich Burnout
I've been in Nashville for the past week visiting family. The moment we stepped into the airport I decided that my diet was going on a shelf. Nashville has some amazing restaurants (so much better than San Diego) and I didn't want to miss out on a thing.

We ate out for almost every meal... and not just Mc Donalds. We usually only had room for two meals a day because we'd eat Cracker B...

I decided to tackle my dietary vices one at a time this past week.

I have never done drugs, don't gamble, drink alcohol only on my birthday and new year's eve. My vice is sugar.

I have been eating dessert every night for months. After my session with Rebecca (trainer) two Fridays ago, I was pumped and focused. I decided that this would be the week that I break my sugar habit. I slipped and cheated until Thursday night... then dropped desserts.

I just read a fascinating paper that reveals the results of a study on how the availability and visibility of food (specifically, chocolate) affects consumption.
