So, It's been a year. Let's take stock.
A year and a week ago, I woke up and said: "I've got to get to the gym". Starting at 253lbs in December, I got down to a low of 228 in March. After doing cardio every day for a week, I fell off the wagon. In the intervening time, I gained and lost weight... until today, I'm back where I started at 250.
--HOWEVER--
This isn't yesterday's 250.
In December 2007, I was wearing slacks with a size 42 waist because my 40s no longer fit. Today I go between size 38s which are snug and 40s which fit well.
For the past 3 months, I've been doing serious full body training 3-5 days a week and MAN have I grown.
Even though I'm at a break-even point with my weight, I'm pretty sure I lost 13 lbs of fat and gained 10 lbs of muscle.
After 2 1/2 years of going to school and working a full time job, I'm set to wrap up my last class in about a week. In 2009, I get my life back and I can focus on losing weight in earnest.
I'm afraid that I'm planning to let CK go from my menu of tools. They have made a lot of changes, but not to the things that I use most. Frankly I can build a much better site than they have here and I plan to have it ready around this time next year.
